This place is super fun late on Monday nights for old-school hip hop on 45s, it's the jam. Otherwise, it's your basic bar with plenty of drink options and good music. Come with friends and fun will be had.

Here's where the spirit of New York rock and roll lives. Great staff, great sound and tremendous value. The only downside is that for achy joints like mine, it's a drag to stand for 4 hours through a triple bill and it does get mighty crowded. Still, a great place to see legendary live music.

Great venue to watch local rock bands play loud! As a musician sound check is always on time and the sound guys are down to earth. As a punter the unconventional layout works. You can always see the band playing. Even on the screen at the bar! Beers are decent and the crowd is a grungy mix of New Yorkers of all ages. Support local music and get down to the Bowery!

Good bands, great drinks, friendly staff & one of the most mixed broad based crowds you will ever find: Everyone seems to be welcome and come as you are rules the day. Tiny back room for bands, but the music is always excellent. Feels like an 80's bar on one level, yet something entirely different on another: ' gritty and real above all. Only been a few times but had fun each time, more of a come with friends, rather than meet new ones kinda place. Neat neighborhood too: plenty of options.
