Great venue for up and coming acts. It's a small place so it keeps that small show feel but with a heavy sound. You're close to the stage and some acts will crank it, so don't forget some dampening ear plugs. That way you can keep that high frequency hearing range so you can hear all the dog whistles or something I don't know.

It's actually not a bad music room and good sound system. The man running the sound, etc. Did a fine job. As far as the bar, overpriced substandard product. This is not a food venue. Front end staff didn't seem to care about anything. Not sure if I would give a second try. BTW the music act we went to see was excellent.

One of the few multi-band rock venues still open and active in Manhattan - let’s support them before there are no more such venues in the city. The music is good, sound is good, drinks are fairly priced and so are shows!

Excellent sound system. Intimate dark vibrant venue that has some of the best shows in the city, especially for the price. Smaller than a Bowery or Williamsburg hall of music, it brings out an intimate side of musicians that other venues don’t.

Nice little gem to hear some truly up and coming talented musicians explore their musical talents. Nice dance floor and tasty drinks, friendly staff in the heart of the NYC Village.
