11/8/21. On vacation with full kitchen- needs food! It's really crazy but I brought kunio pork, Filipino fried chicken and cinnobon pecan rolls from Hawaii. So I was delighted to see the selections of everyrhing! Fried Chicken, croissents, black walnut Ice cream, large cooked shrimps $7.99lb. $2.49 for a gallon of Sweet Ice teas and finally carmel toffee apple pie!!#@%/*##? YES! I won the jackpot!! Smith for the taste buds!!
I can understand if the employees have poor morale here. It is my understanding that employees here are not given breaks or lunches, which they are legally entitled to. The store manager is a nightmare. I have witnessed her berate employees while they are obviously busy. Perhaps she should think about staffing appropriately. This is probably a company wide culture though. It is pretty sad and disgusting to treat people like this. I am a long time customer, but no more.
Kathy was so rude to my 7 year old and i. We asked permission to check out the pumpkins in the front and were told it was fine. Less than a minute later this old angry woman Kathy who was clearly off duty came up to us questioning us. She was not a manager read her tag and yet demanded to know who gave us permission to be outside. When I said I wouldn’t speak with her about it because she not a manager she became infuriated and was aggressively hovering around my kid, rushing us to pick the pumpkins and go. When I asked for her name and credentials she backed away and covered her name. Can’t help but wonder that if I looked more like Kathy would I have even been questioned let alone harassed with a small child present?? Been going to this smith’s for 7 years & honestly do not plan to return. Tried to complain to management and was brushed off. My kid’s scared and no longer wants to shop at smith’s. Can’t blame him.
You can always tell what companies care when you see them responding to Google reviews. This company never responds and very obviously doesn't care. This store has the worst produce department ever. Even Walmart has better produce, and that is just sad. This location never has everything I need, food is always out of stock. Knowing my way around is the only reason I even shop here. Well, they are moving everything around. I was running late for work yesterday and couldn't get everything I needed because I didn't have time to find where you moved it to. There is a Vons right down the street. I'm going there from now on.
Normally I would give this story a good review but when you go into a store at 7:45 and they have one checkout lane open and the person doesn't even have their light on and they've closed down 60% of their self checkout to the point where they have a line backed up five people and don't say anything you have bad management. There is zero reason to close your self checkout until about an hour before the end of the store The store is open till 11:00 p.m. This is 7:45 That's more than 3 hours of business You still have to go and it takes no more time to have all yourself check out open than it does to have 40% nor does it make sense to have 60% of it closed. That whoever's running the store at this time with today is August 17th 2022 you need to do your job better as a manager and not have one guy paying very little attention to what's going on and then when a customer asks about no lanes checked open or he goes 14's open and they all look up and goes with the lights are on oh the bulb must be burnt out because that's an excuse If you're bold it's burnt out of your only open register then you open a different register You don't open that register or replace the bulb and not be a lazy individual That was a poor excuse for a dumb system. And that's why you get a three review and two people walked out so you lost business angered your customers I'm pretty sure that's not what the CEO or the shareholder of Smith's would like you to be doing so either fix it or find a new job cuz they can find someone who can fix that problem in 2 seconds.
Love shopping here, customer service is great. Sometimes they have good deals and good clearance. Also, I love the coupons they send me and the fuel rewards program with Shell.
Smiths has been a favorite of mine for years. Smiths has low prices & sends me coupons monthly. The Smiths employee's are friendly & quick to help. Today an employee independently applied a coupon b/c the app wasn't functioning correctly. In the past, if the clip digital coupons don't work on the app customers service has refunded me too. Overall five stars Smiths truly cares about their customers.
I've shopped here since it opened and it's still a favorite of mine , great selection and a pharmacy to boot !
Everytime I go into there bakery they can never do a order for me cuz they don't have a cake Decorator
Oye! This location is so trashy and their cashiers are very rude and unfriendly. While shopping yesterday I came across several chips that were expired from May. The coffee cake I was going to purchase had a long hair stuck under the bakery sticker. This location like most Smiths in the area is gross!
