Great paintings on they're walls. Some are for sale. Service is spotty, food can be very good or very bad depending on server, how the kitchen is organized which requires wait staff to remember who gets what so it doesn't arrive way too late. I sent mine back. Other meals very good. Consistency in service and quality means a lot. I think the owner (mgr) is a wonderful person and treats her customers very well. I hope the best for this place as it has potential beyond what I experienced. Good help needed here to make it GREAT, every day, every meal.

I ordered the Hot Beef sandwich and was so disappointed, it had a funky taste to the beef, the gravy had gravy skin still on it, and the potatoes were two different colors it looked like they had put old on the bottom and new on top. Although the waitress took it off our bill, I left hungry. I’ve been here before for breakfast, and it was good. Our waitress wasn’t friendly with us at all, she was with the people she knew. The hostess was so nice though so that’s a plus. On the plus, my husband ordered the Strawberry Shortcake and it was very delicious.

This is my first google review ever We've eaten here many times and the food was usually pretty good. Today we went in to eat and the first thing I noticed was the predominantly senior clientele. The second thing we noticed was a CLEARLY very sick waitress with her head down on a stack of menus at one of the tables . She had a severe and persistent wet cough. She was back and forth into the kitchen. Once we saw that she was just starting her shift and had walked over to serve an older gentleman and would be our new server (the nice lady that got our coffees and took our order was getting off) we decided to leave. I informed the staff that we were uncomfortable with the situation and asked to pay for our coffees. The manager (who appeared stressed) had to ring out our drinks. I hope our concerns were considered and the server was sent home.

Always a great place to go for breakfast. I went for dinner. The food was just as good for dinner as it was for breakfast. I highly recommend the Strawberry Short Cake for dessert. It has the most delicious homemade whipped cream on top of it.

A must-go spot! Everything we had was amazing including the pork chop with applesauce (not pictured). The staff were beyond helpful and even though we went on a Thursday, the fact that they honor our military every Friday is always cause for patronage in our book. We may be back in the morning before we head out of town!
