Idaho Falls Black Bear Diner

My hubby and I often go to Black Bear when we don't feel like cooking, or when we just want to go out for a nice evening. We have both tried several different items from their menu, and we have never left disappointed or unsatisfied. Everytime we visit, we always have awesome service, and we have never had to wait long to get our food, even when they are packed. I highly recommend Black Bear to anyone wanting a nice night out, with great food, huge portions, and an awesome price to match!

The food was great. Serving staff was perfect. I just haven't had the occasion to go back. I recommend the place to friends, family, and visitors to Idaho Falls. I even took time to see other locations of the Black Bear Diner so if I am visiting there I'll have a good place to eat.

Great service great prices and good food. Unfortunately they don't carry the large ribeye I always used to order. It was to die for. The last time I went in I ordered the ribeye again and I got what looked to be a sirloin steak which was dry. I mentioned this to the waitress and she said they changed vendors. The GM should ask waitresses what guest concerns are on a daily basis so he can keep customers happy and coming back. I DO recommend this place...big portions awesome food

Went to Black Bear Diner for the 1st time last Friday with my son after an appointment he had. We both had omlets and where very impressed. Really good. We again the next Friday and had Bacon-Cheeseburger with fries and had to try their clam chowder. It was all really good. Added the steak sauce to my burger and the chiptloe sauce. Everything was delicious.

We hoped for Wild Alaska Grilled Salmon, it is not grilled, and more likely farm raised. Sadly it was not that great. Waitresses are really nice. Sweet potato fries are good.
