Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill

I've noticed their baby back ribs have gotten more flavorful and tender within the last 3-4 months or so. i travel a lot and these ribs moved up several notches on my favorite savory rib rating scale. Myself and six to ten friends line up for lunch first Wed of each month and order the Bone-Fire grills and are very happy with the meal. Service good to very good. Managers come over and interact with you.

I was craving ribs, found this place and have it a try. Ate at the bar and enjoyed a nice beer and a decent rack of St Louis style ribs. I don’t go for baby backs but prefer the St Louis style and they were what I would expect. Recommend the Memphis style as it has less sauce, plus you can add your own if you want. Bar service was amazingly good - the team behind the bar was 5 star for sure.

The place was clean and fairly quiet since it was mid-afternoon. Hubby ordered the babyback ribs, which were tender and full of flavor. I had the bbq chicken with pulled pork. The chicken was not cooked on a grill but reheated with sauce added. The pulled pork was tasty but it was shredded almost too fine for me. I've had pulled pork and I was expecting some different size pieces not uniform in size. Their brisket is not available until 4:00pm. Kind of disappointing since my first choice is always brisket. We will probably go back to give it another try.

First visit here for my girlfriend and I. It came highly recommended by a couple friends. When we got seated we noticed people were being moved to different parts of the restaurant. It soon became apparent that the restaurant was cold, so cold we had to keep our outer wear on. Even the people that got moved were still not happy. There was no warm spot in the place. My girlfriend got the ribs and she loved them. Although ten minutes after getting the meal everything was cold to the touch. I got the beef brisket. My first piece of beef was half fat and the other piece was very VERY far from world class barbecue. Had we been able to find the waitress I would have at least had the meals warmed up. When I went to pay I paid by the electronic kiosk and when the receipt printed it was blank. Again I would have said something about the issue but we could not find our waitress. At this time I just wanted to leave. My friends were very surprised to hear about my experience, they've always had a great experience. Drove 45 minutes to basically freeze. If you can't keep your establishment at a comfortable temperature you shouldn't be open.

This place used to be one of my favorites. Went there for dinner tonight and ordered Brunswick stew which was very poor and lacking in quantity and substance. Also ordered 2 beers. One draft, one bottled. Both were warm. The wings were good. .....I won't be back
