Willie Jewell's Old School Bar-B-Q

A "platter" is about the size of a kids plate. We thought we were getting enough food for 3 adults and a child. Their "platter" was consumed by my 3 year old. We went elsewhere for the rest of us. For $12.99 a small plate it was not worth it at all. The pulled pork was dry and tasteless. Sorry but I love southern food because I'm from the south. So I was under the impression it would be full and hearty. Sadly it was lack luster.

Went back to give this place another try after my first bad experience, well they finally had ribs today, so I order a 1/2 slab of ribs and 1/2 pound of brisket to go. Well i get back to my hotel room and realized they forgot my brisket. What bothered me the most is I called to let them know what happened, so a manager gets on the phone and pretty much accuses me of lying, like I'm trying to scam them for some free food. I work hard for my money, and I only want what I paid for, I'm not a thief. Pretty sad that they make the mistake and instead of fixing it, they would rather accuse the customer. So I definitely won't be returning to that place with crappy management like that...Wish I could give zero stars because that's what this place deserves.

The environment was really clean, comfortable and not loud. The booth walls are high and private. . Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our food came out fast and hot. Prices were extremely reasonable, we left with a full belly. Overall great experience!!! Great job everyone.

Good barbeque is hard to find in the northeast. This is worth stopping in for, good bark. Meats were perfectly cooked, mac and cheese was a little clumpy, but tasted good. Cornbread was the perfect mix of moist and tasty. I will be back.

We started coming here about a year ago. It was fantastic. Food was great tasting and fresh. For the past two months or so, however, the quality control or quality of product has gone down hill, unfortunately.
