Story

Dena Harris, MD
Dr. Harris was a pioneer in the early 1980s for being the first OB/GYN in the SoHo area and also one of the first women OB/GYN's in private practice in NYC. After becoming partners with Dr. Deborah Coady, in 1990 she co-founded SoHo OB/GYN women’s healthcare center. A year later Dr. Harris saw the publication of the book she co-authored, Recovering from a Hysterectomy. In 1997 she joined St. Vincent’s Hospital and was awarded a Clinical Assistant Professorship at New York Medical College. Dr. Harris is currently affiliated with N.Y.U Medical Center, N.Y.U Downtown Hospital and St. Vincent’s Hospital. She is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was board certified in 1983. She has been named to the Top Doctors in New York and America’s Top Doctors. Dr Harris currently concentrates her general gynecology practice in menopause, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, uterine fibroids, minimally invasive surgery, adolescent gynecology and vulvar pain.

Eden Fromberg, DO
Dr. Eden Fromberg is an integrative obstetrician/gynecologist and osteopathic clinical professor whose innovative and engaging approach to reframing the medical dialogue and implementing effective health and wellness strategies with her patients and clients is unique and unsurpassed. Her practice at SOHO OB/GYN in New York City has been a sanctuary for truly holistic women’s health care, and Dr. Fromberg is also the Founding Director of Lila Yoga, Dharma & Wellness www.lilawellness.com, where she teaches and curates Integrative Wellness & Yoga for Women programs and trainings. Dr. Fromberg’s extensive and diverse background, years of clinical experience, dedication to caring well for her patients, and active interest in current research and innovation give her the opportunity to sort out complex issues and offer a range and depth of options to meet her patients' needs. In addition to her expertise in integrative fertility, pregnancy, and birth, Dr. Fromberg applies a functional, structural, and biointelligent integrative approach to addressing all areas of gynecology and beyond. She creates unique, customized programs designed to encourage the body’s innate abilities and healing mechanisms to flourish, addressing underlying causes and prevention in addition to symptoms. Nutrition, movement, meaningful information, cutting edge research, alternative perspectives, and a range of potential options offer Dr. Fromberg’s patients the care, relief, and support they need while often avoiding the potential side effects and risks of pharmaceutical medications, synthetic hormones, and surgery. Dr. Fromberg takes a special interest in the complex areas of female pain, pelvic floor, and sexual dysfunction from an integrative perspective. She helps women throughout the life cycle achieve optimal hormonal health, and is a bioidentical hormone expert.
In addition to her busy medical practice and wellness studio, Dr. Fromberg teaches and consults locally and internationally. She has worked collaboratively with midwives and birth centers, supporting culturally sensitive, gentle childbirth practices worldwide.
