Solis at Flamingo

I waited until I moved out to do this just because the leasing office seems like they would retaliate for a bad review. Their form of communicating entrance to the apartment is a paper stuck to the door that can blow away. Repairs take forever and goodluck if its a weekend. We had our A/C fixed and they tore up the floor and it was left that way till we moved out. When we moved in we were told they would upgrade the washer and drier but they never did it was a drier from like early 90s. They also kept trying to raise our price when ever we renewed but they would send one price in the mail and a different one over the email. Worse part of all they kept charging us rental insurance even though we had our own and provided documentation multiple times. I know housing is rough in vegas but if you can i would go with a different company if you can't then its a good enough place but def not worth their price.

The little time i have been here has been something else. I literally want to end my contract with these apartments. I have been having roach and scorpions in my apt. When they come and spray they only focus on the kitchen floor and that is it they dont spray anything else. Today i was very comfortable in my bed ad guess what a roach decided to climb up in bed with me! It was really gross. Today i killed an adult scorpion that was getting ready to enter my home. Another issue the ppl upstairs stop so bad its horrible! I do not recommend this place and i so want to end this contract because living here has been horrible for me.

My experience was amazing. From the first day I came in Shayla was so chill and explained everything very well and thoroughly. Made me feel comfortable and is a big reason why I decided to sign the paperwork. Elisa was also an amazing help, I came in to see Shayla who was busy at the time and Elisa helped me and also made me feel very comfortable. They’re a great team with great energy and a fun sense of humor. I’m very happy with my decision

My previous Yelp review is below, but here is my current feedback: Billing issues resolved for this month. We shall see if they stick. After 5 maintenance calls for the leaking bathroom ceiling, the leak was diverted- meaning a giant hole was cut in the drywall with a plastic fitting LITERALLY MEANT TO HAVE THE LEAK DRIP INTO THE SINK INSTEAD Of THE TUB, creating a constant wet dripping mess in the bathroom. How is this a solution? I am livid. Literally dodging fixing the more complex system to save money while water floods my bathroom. I called emergency maintenance Bc if the mess. No one showed up. Previous Yelp review: i am trying to be patient, and at management request, had updated my previous review to five stars based in the friendliness of the maintenance staff and office staff. This is a beautiful property, but I still have a few grievances. I was charged a late fee because my rent was supposed to be adjusted to reflect that I #1 had my own renters insurance. And #2 that I didn't have a storage unit. Three months in, I am still being billed for insurance despite my agent calling twice to speak with office staff. The late fee was promised to be waived because of the inability of management to fix the balance. I ended up having to spend $10 on a cashiers check in order to submit a payment that subtracted what I didn't owe , as the electronic payment center won't allow partial payments. Against what was promised. The late fee remains. I am beyond frustrated at this point. The bureaucracy of this company is debilitating to its functionality. All this said, the staff in the office are kind and want to help, but they are over worked, and understaffed, and under-supported. Finally, the loud pool parties and rude neighborhood youth make it less than relaxing here in the summer. A week ago there was a giant pool of blood left to dry near the entrance to the pool! Seriously? As an educator, I was really hoping to enjoy my summer off. Nothing but stress and a STILL leaking bathroom ceiling. I have submitted at least four work orders for this. The roaches are gone for now, so. Guess there's that. ‍

Great location. Newly renovated dog park and basketball court. Scorpions and roaches. Maintenence shows up quickly and fixes everything. Scorpions and roaches. Lots of parking

RUN ! I would give it zero stars if I could scorpions roaches and ants! people steal car parts , my boyfriend had his car shot up twice here , everything is broken when you move in . Management is pretty cool but the apartment themselves are trash and not worth the price at all ! Look else where for an apartment.

At the beginning, it was great. Christina aka Chrissy, with the front office is SO AMAZING and helped explain everything to us and got us all ready. We were in a very tight spot, leaving our last house due to it being sold, so everything was extremely stressful until we met with Christina. She really did everything she possibly could have to make our experience a positive one. After moving in, we found it nearly impossible to reach anyone in the main office. When we did, it was always a pleasant experience. Their front office staff is extremely helpful, professional and kind. Neighborhood is rough. My car, while parked, overnight got hit twice. Hit and runs. Since Solis is a private community, the police won’t enter to file a police report for accidents. I was SOL. That was really the first and main thing that caused me to leave. If you’re in an upstairs apartment, don’t expect your apartment to get any cooler than 75° in the summer and your power bill will average $200+ Because of it. Packages will always get delivered to the wrong address. Kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets were coming off left and right. It’s cheap wood, so screws don’t catch. Closet shelves also collapsed a couple times because of really poor installation into drywall. Had to fix those a couple times. When they laid my carpet down there was a large object they forgot was under the carpet, probably a tool, that I had to step on every day. Couldn’t wait to leave these apartments, but during our stay, I can’t say that it was too bad.

If you are going to apply there, it will be better if they do the application for you in the office because the application has problems, in addition to taking time to load data, it does not recognize the information and has many errors. My family and I thought about living there and we applied online but we couldn't send the application however THEY WERE CHARGED. We scheduled an appointment with Johanna but when we got to the office there was only a lady who said she was the manager, a person with little patience and very unpleasant manners. That lady was not able to complete what we needed either because ACCORDING TO HER we had made a mistake when filling out the application and that was TERRIBLE for her. The lady in a bad mood called the person who would be the boss and this one with bad manners also told me to shut up to listen to the angry lady who kept repeating that we were responsible for that mistake we made a mistake in placing an identification in another box and they couldn't do that sort out . The angry lady suggested that the only solution was to pay $60 again to fix it WE HAD ALREADY PAID $180 PREVIOUSLY. I got the feeling that since our English was not fluent, they treated us that way. We stayed there for three hours waiting for someone to help us but the lady with the face of a witch and the rude boss withdrew from the stage and left us sitting there WITHOUT AN APOLOGY, and leaving us sitting there with no SOLUTION to something that they IN PRINCIPLE had to solve . IF YOU DECIDE TO APPLY THERE, TRY TO GET THE OFFICE EMPLOYEES TO HELP AND AVOID TALKING TO THE ONE WHO SAYS HE IS THE MANAGER AND ABOVE ALL, DO NOT PAY ANYTHING BEFORE YOU APPLY.. SCAMMERS!!!!!!!! B

Resident of Solis at Flamingo apt community since Nov. 2019. Elected Clark County Committeeman in 2022. I stay at Solis' because of Prompt maintenance services, Clean facilities and new Pet grounds and lighted basketball court. Place your own security cameras in and around your apartment and you are set to enjoy desert life.

Love being in the center of town! I just hate the roach and scorpion never ending issue! Also whoever remodeled the apartment's used small screws for ALL cabinet doors, so little by little, each one is falling off and constantly needing to report the office! Hopefully you guy's don't raise the rent on us AGAIN! But our neighbors are great!
