Song Garden School

Our family was fortunate enough to have both our boys attend Song Garden. The nurturing and creative teachers and warm community, along with the lovely seasonal traditions were a blessing for our kids and our entire family. Both boys had a really fun and positive start to their school experiences, which helped to shape their future school experience.

Our son attends Song Garden - it's our fourth school in the area. We also went to Portland Waldorf School lovely but too far, Treehouse Nursery lovely but pricy, and Little Hands Garden School not our style. This one, like Goldilocks, is JUST right. It's cozy, intimate, sweet and special. The kids are engaged, learning, exploring and being loved. The Waldorf traditions are celebrated with the seasons, they eat homemade soup and bread each week, and do so in the company of their friends in a range of ages. Very happy I discovered this school.

Our daughter is in her second year at Song Garden, and we can't recommend it enough. There is an atmosphere of care, respect and consideration among the children because the teachers consistently model those behaviors. It's a lovely community of families, taking joy in watching all the kids grow.
