No frills - comfortable- reasonably priced - nice service BYOB with great food. Had the M-16., The Jersey girl roll , the Incredible roll and salmon & fluke sushi. Shaved a star for ambience but this place is a keeper !

Squid salad is my dish. Don't touch, it's mine. My wife and I shared sushi and sashimi for two. Wasabi cleared my sinuses, ginger was fresh, fish delicious. I could barely fit the big roll in my mouth. BYOB and middeltown bottle king right in the same plaza.

The best sushi hands down, fresh and flavorful. Staff is friendly and very polite. Tom and Betty are the best. I recommend Sono to everyone.

I rate this place one star because I have to in order to write a review. I got some shrimp dish and the shrimp was so over cooked that it was almost impossible to chew. I'm from nashville and even we have better sushi! I got the 1/2 soft shell crab and I choked twice on the roll because I couldn't chew it! The crab was terrible! The service was terrible. Even my friends meal, he said was terrible. We barely ate any of it and we still have to pay for it! Terrible food! This place should not have 4.6 stars. Yuck
