A nice place for trail runs, but can be crowded on weekends as it is one of the most diverse nature areas available to NJ residents. Seems like a fun place to Boulder and am pretty excited to try routes in a couple weeks. Lots of dogs walked here so it can get hard for dogs who don't get along with other dogs. Haven't seen any viewpoints except at the top of the gas line, but there's a nice river to sit on one side of and admire.

One of the good hiking place. I have done 2 rimes hiking in this place. Longest hiking track is 5 miles. There are shorter one too. I did with boys scouts as well as cubs scout. Max elevation 500ft. In between scouts prepared some pancakes for breakfast.good place to hike.

There's lots of land that is very conveniently located in central New Jersey! I love jogging on the paths here. The trail is fairly rocky, and there are several boulders in the trail that one has to scramble up. The hikes in the woods may prove to be too challenging for younger kids, but older kids will love finding the trails. The grassy meadow paths are more accessible. The trails are well marked but grab a map at the stand near the bathrooms.

Great hiking trip for beginners and experienced hikers! The sound of the forest of all the crickets, birds, the creek and other creatures makes one feel with nature. After raining, some spots could be very slippery

Such an amazing day indoctrinating my 2 yr olds into the love of nature. Perfect day, perfect small hike. Lots of dogs, families, runners... Really excellent place. Clean. Well kept.
