bad service & by the looks of it bad/ mean management. I suggest go to another shop there is a ton of them in the area. I am glad I walked out while the shop manager pretended to be on shark tank by being very rude to some what seemed like nice sales people. I stayed long enough to be appalled by what I saw/ heard from the manager. It also made me feel really bad. To the mean manager... News flash: you are a shop manager, not even the owner. As a former manager, I recommend you stop pretending to be the store owner & actually do your job. Let your boss handle the sales people so you can actually help customers. When I was a Coffee store manager I learned to just take pamphlets, ask for samples and business cards then dismiss the sales people. It’s easier then being cruel to sales people with an audience of customers. Bad image.
Im on Vacation in Pennsylvania and I decide to take a Trip to Center City to buy a Vape Pen. I went to 4 stores to find one suitable to my liking and I found South st Market! They were very hospitable while I browsed thier inventory. They had EVERYTHING I was looking for.
As a relatively-frequent visitor of this smoke shop, I’ve known the owner for quite some time. The product selection here is... decent, AT BEST, but its inventory isn’t the problem. Rather, I’ve never felt as incredible uncomfortable as I have while in the presence of the shop’s owner. This man is off-putting. He has walked out of the store to “meet with clients” mid-purchase, leaving me curiously waiting for up to 15 minutes, not to mention alone. On nearly every visit to this store I find him engaging in unprofessional and potentially incriminating phone calls, holding up his finger for 20 minutes sometimes more so he can finish his “business” while his customers desperately try to make a purchase and proceed on with their day. In short, the customer service at this store isn’t merely lacking, it is absolutely despicable. There are tons of smoke shops on south street - I would stay away from this one.
Great place! We went in and everyone was very friendly. I bought a box of hookah coals and the gentleman at the store gave us a hookah sampler. I will be returning to this place again!
This place was a great shop that I happened to stop in. Everything inside was organized neatly and the shop smelled so good! The gentleman that helped me was very patient with me as well. I purchased a kangertech starter vaporizer and some strawberry juice too, he even gave me another bottle to try for free. All in all this place knows what they're doing when it comes to customer service. I highly recommend it.
Very shady vibes. The employee was really rushing the sale. They don't even give you a receipt, probably because there's a "no return policy" sign hidden from view on the wall.
Store clerk was a total douche - I went in to buy kratom . clerk stated they had only carried kratom products for a week and knew nothing about it . He called someone in NYC and relayed the message to myself it was 75.00 usd for 30g . I informed douche I could buy opms 30g in NOLA for 30.00 usd. He then proceeded to say “there’s a lot of fakes “ and wouldn’t rip me off . It was pretty comical . That’s after he told my wife and I that people from Nola are poor . We left -walked two blocks to philly dream shop and low and behold normal prices . Go down to 254 south st -For regular retail prices .
I literally walked here in the cold from my shop on 5th and south and the person running the store older heavy set white guy walks out and tells me he’s going on a 10 minute break. This store is never that busy, so the reason he so desperately needed to take a break while he had a paying customer outside is beyond me. I will never return here and won’t recommend any of my clients to come here either.
unbelievably over priced. looking at the actual retail value of the bottle of 420 cleaner i bought, i was charged more than double. feeling like ive been scammed honestly.
do not ever go here. they are complete rip offs. the guy in this store specifically is a real gem. he is rude and grimey. he oozes used car salesman. will never go here again.
