SouthCore Parking Garage

Amazing parking garage!! It's the best, 8 floors of beautiful parking structure. Floors 1 & 2 are a museum, floors 3-8 are parking... General parking isn't until like the 4th floor or higher, but the roof is reserved! You need a special key card for the 8th floor roof top parking. Great views of the bay and downtown buildings, and streets and stuff. Great place to park for 1st Friday since it's located off Central Ave... Just avoid center elevator, it gets stuck a lot!

Okay place, lots of construction so plan on you car being covered in filth. On the upside it wasn't stolen so that's a good thing.

Parking lot is nice, just smelled like they don't clean it, and the charging station took a lot of effort to get it to work.

As a monthly paid parker - I can say this garage is easy in and easy out but the elevator has been out of commission for almost a year due to fire. I usually don't mind taking the stairs but this stairwell is DISGUSTING and using it is like descending into the bowels of a hell! The handrails are untouchable as they are coated with years of grime and God knows what else. Every landing has urine and/or vomit on it - This makes for a fabulous, gag inducing odor! SCP should really step up their game, grab a couple of bottles of bleach, a scrub brush, and some Clorox wipes for the handrails and make the stairwell less disgusting. Fixing the elevator would be a nice touch, or at least update the signs. Rather than elevator temporarily out of order - they could go with a more direct and honest approach..."No Elevator - Plug your nose and hoof it up or down the stairs" - If you are reading this be thankful it's not a scratch and sniff post! UPDATE - Two weeks since this review and the stairwell is still disgusting.

$5 parking, all day and I believe until 3AM... The parking attendant (via voicebox) was not very informed on the policies of the garage and kept going to co-workers to ask questions. She may have been a trainee though, and I can understand and tolerate that for sure. Luckily there was no one behind me in line. It wasn't hard to find a space without going to high up in the garage, but then again it was a Tuesday night.
