William F. Poe Parking Garage

Parking garage payment machine didn't give me back my proper change, I would advise to avoid the inside machines. It gave me back what it could in DIMES. I took the printed receipt showing the machine shorted me back $5.60 and the exit gate staff members were friendly and tried to assist me the best they could. I was advised I would receive a refund check in the mail. I NEVER received it 4 months later. I won't give this garage zero stars only because of the staff's courtesy and help at the time.

First of all, the driving lanes are WAY too tight. The hairpin turns are just dumb when you have tight lanes and two way traffic. So many trucks and large vehicles caused traffic jams trying to make turns. The parking spaces are barely as wide as my compact car. So people park right on top of your door handles and inevitably hit your car with their doors. The dumbest thing is there are permanent signs telling you that it’s $7 if you’re parking more than 5hours. But on event days when there’s something happening at one of the places near by like the Straz or the park, they charge you $10 up front before they even let you park. When we were leaving, there was a huge sign that said $7 all day parking for the same parking garage. What?! It’s conveniently located but definitely a scam for people who aren’t parked there for events or festivals.

Nicely located parking garage for city access. I have a sizable Sudan and did not have issues parking. Admittedly, the Cass St. Entrance is closed more than I'd like I usually use the Ashley Dr., Heading southward (turn right into the garage).

Do not park at this location you will come back to a big fat $30 ticket on your car if your tire is touching the yellow line. They are robbing people left and right here. What seems like an inexpensive day out with your family will turn out to be a fat ticket at by the city of Tampa. The employees were rude and not helpful. And exiting took over an hour this was just on a Sunday. Imagine when they're busy. Skip this parking garage

Best parking garage ever. When I came back after leaving my vehicle, it was still there. Will park again!
