Southwest Washington Fairgrounds

Great day. My 6 yr old grandson and I attended the annual Youth Fair. The grounds are well kept. The buildings are well ventilated, easy to move around in and appear to be very structurally sound. Whatever the event at the fairgrounds, I always leave satisfied.

How do you rate a Fairgrounds? We went to one building only and this was a special event. It was raining and the parking lot isn't paved, but this is Washington, so get over it. The building was fine and had room and restrooms. That's all that needs to be said.

Nice place. A lot of parking spaces. Little run down. City needs to renovate.

The bi monthly gun show. It's a fairly small show but a good selection.

We went to see a concert by Lacy J. Dalton, the concert was free with your paid fair tickets. The lady still puts on an excellent show (5 stars), and her voice is still as beautiful and strong ever. Definitely the best part of the fair. The exhibits were exciting and My Grandson loved the animals. The fair food was mediocre at best and very over priced and the parking ranged from 3 to dollars. All in all a great way for a family to enjoy themselves.
