Great location (metro at the door), atmosphere, and clean quiet rooms. I greatly appreciate having this space to work and thrive in the community.

Ever since they've renovated the library, they have been 5 star in my book. I especially love the free discounts you get with your library card on things like faxing, printing & scanning. I absolutely love the children's center. Its big & up to date with all the latest of everything.

This is basically an example of how first impressions can ruin an experience. This was my first visit to this branch and I was picking up a book I had placed on hold (closest PG location that had that book in). I haven't been to a library in a while so I wasn't sure if the process had changed (maybe the automated emails letting you know your book is ready for you should tell you what to do). It took a few minutes for them to acknowledge me and even then, they didn't ask how they could help me. When I mentioned I had a book on hold, they pointed to the hold shelf and to look by last name. When I had picked it up, the lady behind the counter, who seemed like I was more of a bother to her, rushed through showing me how to use the "speedy" self-check out. When I had to "bother" them with a question about the correct barcode, she again acted like I was a nuisance. I think I will be returning the book I borrowed at a different location. I'm sure it is a wonderful library based on the other reviews, but maybe staff just need to realize that you may be entertaining first timers and first impressions can make or break someone determining where they will put their support.

Went in to pick up pre ordered book, never acknowledged upon entrance, young man at the information desk was helpful, went to the hold to pick out my book then waited in line behind one other fellow, the lady and man behind the desk never acknowledged me, spoke or anything, after taking long casually talking to the man in front of me, she told him, hold on and go to the side and I'll show you how to use the express machines, really! WOW! Still nothing to me so I go over to the machines I didn't know about and while he's waiting because she's helping the man working behind the counter figure something out, I figured out how to do the express machines myself and when I'm finally leaving, she says, oh, did you get it?! Duh?!!! I just nodded and left! Rude!! Employees should be taught to acknowledge patrons upon entrance. Never had it been this bad though! My visit was 03/10/2017 shortly before 5pm.
