Nice! This is now my go-to outdoor sporting goods store - over Cabela's... Much better for ammo. A nice wide selection of items in this store. Clean and with a balanced inventory, and friendly staff.
Josh at the gun counter was a great salesman. Super knowledgeable about multiple types of firearms and accessories. Plus he stood there and worked with me for about an hour just to get me what I needed.
Plenty of helpful staff. Very knowledgeable about products. Veterans discount on purchase. Have returned several times to discuss a purchase that I made and have received nothing but stellar customer service and product support since initial purchase. Purchased a pair of snowshoes for a very competitive price compared to REI, ended up returning them for a refund and was given a full refund with no questions asked. People at the front counter are very friendly and helpful.
Anchorage store needs to train thier Employees. Went in to buy some camp gear and forgot my credit card my fault I know. Lady at customer service desk seemed disinterested in looking up my card #, Wasilla location has no problem doing this, and the gentleman behind the counter was more concerned about a fishing license than trying to get help. She pulls up my account and proceeded to ask how much I want pay on my card balance! Seriously walked out with nothing, but a ton of frustration and irritability.
Came in one day and they had a rifle I liked but only a couple in stock. I was able to put a hold on it for a couple days so I can pay it off. Very nice workers. Had the ammo I couldn't find anywhere else.
They didn't have a walking stick in stock that a patient of mine really needed we have gotten it from there before I asked if they could check the website they did and said non of the other stores in the lower 48 had it but when I got home and looked I found it it cost $28 for the cheast shipping that I'm fine with I just wish they would have gave me accurate information other than that the employee are somewhat helpful depending on who feels like helping.
Sportsman's Warehouse would probably increase their sales if they could provide competent customer service! Several customers just walked away from the counter knowing they wouldn't be served, myself included! And I knew exactly what I wanted!!
Good store for a variety of things. I enjoy shopping here as the prices are competitive and the selection is wide. I have even stopped in the store with some kids to kill some time and I had a great time with the animals on display and the wide variety of interesting items. Sportsman's warehouse is also a good place to pick up gifts if you run out of ideas.
Staff was very helpful. However cashier's were busy talking to others and never offered discount program even when I spent over $500. Poor customer service that way...
I'm an urban city girl and didn't know if I should laugh or cry walking through the store. At the front they have a board with pictures of hunters kills. It smelled like licorice that was actually bear bait. Lot's and lots of guns, knives and camo. I'm sure it's a hunter's Paradise, but for me it was pure entertainment
