Spud's Bar And Grille

Really blast from an older past. Nice place, but I see they had some fire damage and so I wonder if they will open back up. I been there a few times for lunch and the meat Loaf was good. It is real close to the post office and so it real easy to find. Not sure how long this place has been around but they are jammed on game days. Get there early if you want any hope of a table on game days. Smokers are welcome outside on the sidewalk seating.

I've been coming to Spuds for about 20 years. Great prices, food, drinks, bartenders, and owners. One gets a healthy pour here; no skimping, to be sure! The food portions have one feeling more than just satisfied/content! I believe I'll continue to be a returning customer!

Good food and very hospitable! Fun place to meet new people, both young and old. I was visiting Cols for a couple weeks and went three times with my old fogey friends.....great atmospher! Trivia night was loads of fun! Highly recommend!

Best bar in Columbus. Super super chill. Cheap drinks and awesome people. Don't ruin this place and bring your douchebag friends. Only rated it 5 stars because I couldn't give it more.

The "fat broad" has a name. Her name is Brenda and she takes very good care of her customers. Of course you can't use her restrooms if you are not a customer. This is a great bar for those of us who don't want to deal with the loud yuppie bars.

If you enjoy playing pinball, a game of pool, or giving it your all with karaoke then spuds is the place for you. Small bar and grill with a good atmosphere and GREAT drinks.

Will never go here again. Service was terrible they weren't busy but the bartenders made me wait while they talked to their friends then after waiting for about 5 mins when I was the only person trying to get a drink and they weren't crowded. She asked for my ID which is fine I look younger than I am I get carded a lot but then she insisted she needed to go in the back and scan my ID which I've never had happen before at any bar so I was annoyed but wasn't that big of a deal. Then when she came back I ordered two coronas which she refused to give me until she saw my fiances ID. I then had to go out front where she was sitting and bring her in with her ID, after giving it to her because she needed to scan hers too she then went on to argue and question that it wasn't her because her hair was black in the picture and now it's blonde and it's because she's a hairstylist. Then after about 15 mins of waiting and proving are IDS are real we finally got the now warm beers. I still tipped but will never go back. Service is terrible was treated poorly and interrogated like we were trying to trick her and she acted as if we were an inconvenience because she had to stop her conversation to serve us. Front row is better local bar with better service or mulligans if your looking for local bars with good service.

Brenda is the owner/ bartender and she's awesome. She's surly and fabulous all at the same time. This was our first visit but will not be our last!!

We went there for karaoke on a Saturday night. It wasnt crowded, the bartender was cool, and the atmosphere was laid back. Chill spot.
