Square Cow Movers Nashville

I was pleased in the beginning with Square Cow; however, by the end of the move it had changed. When I called and spoke to Walt, he seemed professional and knowledgeable. Setting the appointment for my out of state move went smoothly. Packing the truck went smoothly. There were four young men on the job in Nashville. They packed efficiently and utilized the space in the truck well. I was offered insurance in the event anything gets damaged. I paid close to $300 additional for the insurance. Fast forward a few days. Only two guys were scheduled for the unload in SC. It was a very poor experience. They were being rushed by the office back in TN. Their supervisor called them nonstop while they were trying to move my belongings. Sad to say, they left my new place in a huge mess. Large pieces of furniture were left in the middle of the rooms, and items were put together poorly. My 65 year old mother felt bad for them being harassed by their superior and moved loads of boxes from the truck the entire second day. Needless to say, with being rushed, they began to get careless with my belongings. I had several damages that resulted from the move and reported a claim. My move was in October, and this is February. I finally got an answer from them. Their answer was to send a $150 check. That didn't even cover the amount that I had paid to have the insurance. I call this fraudulent! If customer service is important to you, this isn't your place.

The most professional movers I've ever encountered. Walt even came by to ensure our satisfaction and we talked Austin BBQ. Very personable and delivered first class customer care and service, something you don't get with typical movers (they bring a truck and don't care much about anything but loading and unloading). It's quite obvious Walt and his partners empower their team with a pride in ownership of the job. And here is an example. I have an executive (heavy) office desk that would not fit into the room. The guys didn't give up ... they found a workaround. Travis, Bobbie and Nick moved the desk through the front window of the room. Excellent service and would never have expected such. Highly recommend SQM.

The Square Cow guys were super easy to work with from start to finish. Easy quote process, easy follow-up to get scheduled and easy day-of-move. They took great care of the property at both my old and new locations and were very gentle with all my belongings. They kept me informed of what was happening, and answered any questions. I have a particularly difficult stairwell to navigate at the new location and they did an excellent job. Were their a couple of bangs here and there? Sure. But, way, way, WAY less than I have ever experienced and was expecting. Nothing was broken... nothing! I couldn't believe it. Walt was great to work with on the front end for the quote and set-up and my on-site crew of Michael, Elijah and William were fantastic. I even ended up with a final cost under the quoted priced, which never happens. I couldn't be happier with my experience!

Not one to leave reviews, I felt compelled to leave one for Square Cow because I've worked with a lot of moving companies in Nashville and have never had a good experience. However, Square Cow - Walt especially - changed that... He was phenomenal to work with throughout the entire booking and moving process! The booking process was easy and didn't contain a lot of hoops to jump through. Day of the move, Walt and Co. were on time (if not a little early). Throughout the move, they were thorough, smart and professional... They took great care of the furniture - not once was I fearful of damage occurring. They were pleasant to be around and very accommodating. Square Cow (and Walt) has set the standard for movers. Next move, we'll certainly use them and request that Walt help us. Thanks for the excellent service!

Whoever drives around their Scion company vehicle is a road rage driver! Look out... hopefully their truck drivers don’t do that
