Stairway Cafe

This Cafe is a MUST VISIT if you are hungry and shopping in North Conway. It is a little climb, for it's not for not they call it Stairway. The food and staff are excellent. Fresh and sharp will do to describe them both. I must say the owner has stumbled upon a little secret. I've no doubt you'll love your visit.

Small brunch place with bags of character and food to match. I imagine sitting on the tiny balcony during summer and enjoying breakfast in the sun would be a perfect start to any vacation day, although this is place is so good I imagine it is very busy in season so I have only visited out of season. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Food tastes really fresh and is just different enough from the norm to make it special. The home made corned beef hash is one of the best I've tasted in the area. Wild Game Sausages from Fossil Farms are well worth a try. We'll be back!

This place is tiny and tends to be warm. The atmosphere is unique but I can't give it a 5 because of that uniqueness at the same time just cause it's so cramped. The food is delicious and the coffee is good. Always good service.

Small but great. There's limited balcony seating overlooking Schouler Park and the train station, get there early. I've been here many times and not once been disappointed by what I've picked off the menu. It's the usual breakfast and lunch cafe menu, with some Mexican takes. My favorite part is the local sausages available. The cafe is decorated in all sorts of chickens and the tables are set with dishcloths for napkins of all colors, giving it a homey, ranch feel to it. This restaurant is located above another shop and is therefore inaccessible to wheelchair bound or others that cannot climb a full flight of stairs.

This restaurant is a must if you're visiting North Conway! We've never had a bad meal there. It's a small place so seating is limited but the wait is certainly worth it!
