The lady with pretty blue braids was able To make my order when I sent it to the wrong Starbucks. I had a hard day and I needed a coffee. She’s Super nice literally love her I hope she gets a raise for her excellent costumer service : Food: 5/5
Disgusting Starbucks with a Toxic Management Situation I had the audacity to visit this Starbucks location, hoping for a quick and pleasant coffee experience. However, what I encountered was nothing short of a nightmare. The first red flag was the sloth-like pace of service. Despite having a relatively small queue, it took an eternity to get to the counter. The baristas seemed utterly overwhelmed and understaffed, their faces etched with exhaustion. As I waited, my attention was drawn to the store manager. She was standing idly by, her arms crossed and a look of disdain on her face. While her employees struggled to keep up with the orders, she appeared to be completely oblivious to their plight. To make matters worse, the manager with a name tag "Jae" suddenly erupted into a tirade of abuse directed at one of the younger baristas. She screamed obscenities and insults, using a slur that made me shudder in disbelief. The barista, clearly devastated, burst into tears while being forced to continue making drinks single-handedly. She should be ashamed at herself for acting that way for middle aged woman, acting too immature for her age. Her actions need to be reprimanded, i cannot believe this woman still is allowed to be associated with the company. The atmosphere in the store was toxic. The baristas were visibly shaken, and customers were left aghast at the manager's appalling behavior.
How is it possible that after 3 years of COVID they still do not have sugar and milk available for one to serve to their liking. poorly trained staffFood: 1/5
Unprofessional management staff. She got extremely aggressive when I asked why it takes so long to get my order. Apparently when you understaffed you do not let customers know that it will take approximately about hour to get an order. When you ask about it, Manager got offended and told me to leave.
I never like to leave a bad review on any business, but this needs to be posted. This was seriously the most rude, and just disrespectful interaction I think i’ve ever experienced with an employee at a Starbucks And this is coming from somebody who is from NY, one of the busiest cities of all. A few days ago my girlfriend and I mobile ordered two drinks at around 7 ish. We understood they were closing at 8 which is why we hurried to grab them. We arrived at 7:20 after walking in the cold and noticed the door was locked. When we looked inside we noticed our drinks we paid for sitting on the pick up counter. We politely asked through the door if the worker could allow us in to pick up the drinks that we paid for, or if it could just be handed to us, as it hadn’t even been that long since we ordered them, and we would be on our merry way. She wouldn’t even say a word to us, and instead decided to use insulting gestures going “No no no leave get out of here”. We kept pointing at the drinks sitting there that so clearly were ours and not even a single word could be said by her, just rude facial expressions from the worker. Keep in mind, the store is still over 40 minutes away from closing. Would it have been that difficult to be a kind human being and just hand us the drinks? Instead your worker stands there acting disrespectful. We then decided to call the location and explain the situation and were thankfully allowed by the women with blue braids to be given the drinks. It so happened to turn out that the ORIGINAL lady who wouldn’t let us in had to give them to us anyways. So why be such a rude individual over something so little? This wasn't even the worst part though! When she came over to hand us the drinks, I attempted to nicely apologize for any confusion she may have had, and she would not even say a word to us, and instead made the nastiest face I have ever seen, as if it were our fault for her mistake. She didn't say a word and continued to make faces. You would think somebody would apologize, since she clearly was in the wrong here, but nope. To make matters worse, she then hands us the drinks practically sideways, and half the coffee spilled onto the pavement outside Which im sure was on purpose of course.I’m not even so much upset over the drinks, but rather the immature behavior shown by a worker representing Starbucks as a company. If you didn’t want to give the drinks then close the mobile ordering, See simple? It's beyond upsetting knowing that this is the type of workers that Starbucks employs. It appears that this location has a serious attitude issue, as pointed out by several previous reviewers. Very obvious that she was getting a kick out of acting as a "Bully," in this situation and it's just disgusting from a business perspective. Happy to say that i'll be contacting corporate. Such a shame too on such a popular street to have a rude worker belittling customers. Do better.
This place is the worst run starbucks I have ever been to. Line out the door. Super slow with the making of the coffees.Service: 1/5
I was simply trying to purchase a drink after my long day at work, but when I went to sit down to rest my legs after standing all day, I was greeted with a not so friendly “Cafe seating is closed for today.” Many others had similar experiences, with other customers even wondering profusely why the Cafe seating was closed despite there being visible seating available.
The employees are rude and disrespectful. The cashier was shamelessly hitting on this Asian girl with her bf standing next to her. You can't tell who's on break and who's working. They're all kicking it behind the register while the place was dirty and the customers were waiting. Just terrible!Food: 1/5
This store has gone downhill fast recently. I waited 45 minutes for an order yesterday there were 8 customers in the store, and no apparent backlog of mobile orders. I left with half of it. Today I changed my order to a pikes place medium roast coffee, thinking maybe they could fulfill that quickly -- they couldn't. The counter space is dirty and I have to remind staff to replace napkins. There is either an understaffing problem or management problem here, I used to have great experiences at this location before. I understand that stress of understaffing impacts employee morale, and don't want to blame the employees, but don't go here if you don't have 40+ minutes to wait for even basic orders. Hopefully this and reaching out to customer support directly will help inform management/corporate of the problem here.
I hate to leave a negative review. I can see or assume from where I am standing as a cusomter that there are structural limits and difficulties that originate from the small store size but facing a lot of traffic, etc. My reviews, if I leave any, are usually good ones for small stores. However, for this Starbucks Location, the order processing was erroneous, the cashier guy wearing the grey sweater talked to me like he was having a bad day and annoyed for some reason probably he is responsible for the delayed order due to the sticker not going through, and while a mistake was made from the store's side, nobody tried to make up for it or apologize. From hindsight, this should really not be a big deal, but at the momemt, if 3 customers are standing & waiting for 25+ minutes for the correct order to come out, and the people inside the counter tell you that they got nothing to explain or appologize for either this or they resort to avoiding eye contact to ignore you, then this spells a bad experience. Again, we waited 25+ minutes for the order to come out.
