Starbucks

So I went here on August 30,2024 at 6:30am and ordered a tall pike roast with a double shot of espresso. And thank god my lunch bag fell on it. There was a big black spider in it dead. I called after work and asked to speak with a manager and explained what happened and instead of her saying oh we are going to clean the machine she said oh no. I cut her off baby I'm never coming there again. I don't want anything free, I'm never coming back. There are nasty. Clean them machines. When an establishment closes they should empty out everything and secure it. Who would think that a five dollar coffee would be nasty?? Not me but no worries whoever the manager of the establishment is I will not be back. Purchasing my own espresso machine. Have a great day

Staff were nice and totally unfazed by the massive line of people from the Detroit marathon. Line was swift, service was great, drinks made perfectly.Food: 4/5

I placed a mobile order at 10:40 today, it is 11:18 and I still have not received my order. This place is packed to the max and the barrista’s have horrible attitude. They have advised that they aren’t going in order, they make the drinks as they come out of the machine and if you haven’t gotten your order you “need to wait till I call your name.” Glad I didn’t have a meeting as I’ve been with quicken for 6 years. Won’t be coming back.

Already out of red holiday cups and it’s only 9 am. Employees are rude. Mobile order only is annoying and inconvenient. Never going back here

Not worth the long wait. The peppermint hot chocolate didn’t taste good but the regular hot chocolate was alright.

Food: This location prints out the custom instructions for drinks but the Barista didn't follow what was printed on the cup including putting the wrong ingredient in the drink. The drinks were good but not what we ordered and paid for. Service: They were polite taking our order but completely inattentive when we waited for 5 or 10 minutes right in front of them to ask for a cup of water. Atmosphere: modern, sleek, artsy, and clean.

I get my usual drink quad iced espresso with extra splash of oatmilk here via mobile order. Decent wait times to get my order, but more often than I'd expect, they take extra long like 10 or 15 extra minutes to complete the order. It can be frustrating. But my bigger issue is that they seem inconsistent with making my usual drink---sometimes, they make it as expected and just like other locations but many/most times they noticeably skimp out on either the coffee or the oatmilk. After several times of that, I order at the other starbucks nearby and only go here as a last resort.

Stopped by this Starbucks location every morning for the last three days and witnessed an excellent team of baristas. They were all friendly and thoughtful. In fact, this morning, a customer spilled her coffee all over herself and the team quickly mobilized to clean up the spill and even made the customer another cup of coffee for free. Truly a class act and one of my favorite moments to witness in this area. Looking forward to stopping by again on my next visit.
