The trash room outside of every floor except the floor potential tenants come to visit piles up, overflowing out and will smell and will be there for weeks. Their communication is aweful and they push you off as if they don't care. I have lived here the past year, I'm a single female and I've had a "maintenance " guy in my apartment without consent while I was in the shower. And anytime I've voiced concerns there have been no accommodations, remorse, or genuine responses. Not to mention I've been calling and communicating, well trying to communicate for the past 3 weeks
If you are a person of color, reconsider your choices. Majority of the residents that stay here are students of University of South Carolina. This is my first AND LAST time living here. The amenities are great and so are CERTAIN staff members when they want to be. When I first moved to The Stations, I was roomed with two white women. I had to move because of several PETTY incidents that the management team knows about as well. My dog dying is a result of the "petty" incidents. Not everyone was raised the same, but my main focus is NOT the appearance of my roommates. There was always petty acts SUCH AS: removing utensils out of shared spaces, INTENTIONAL loud noises, etc. People of color, if you are considering moving here, think about the factors before doing so. Your car might possibly be damaged in the parking garage because people do NOT know how to drive WHATSOEVER! The property management team will also charge residents who don't deserved to be charged because a small group of residents don't do the right thing. When you also put a maintenance order in, hope and pray that they'll get back to you in a timely manner. Although it is a very beautiful complex, there are a lot of "petite" issues. There is ALWAYS trash EVERYWHERE. The maintenance team sucks, man. They don't clean the floors, there is always dog s*** and piss EVERYWHERE. Even in the indoor elevators! Smh.
So far so good I like how there are different events each week. The noise travels a lot through the thin walls but it’s ok. I wish the blinds made the room a little darker. Overall, love all the amenities that are offered and it is a perfect distance from campus with plenty of things to do around it. Perfect location to five points and plenty of walkable places for someone without a car!
I have no complaints. I have been living here for 1 year now and renewed my lease for another year. Obviously, it is a little noisy from the outside traffic, but that is the downside of living in the city. When something is broken, it is communicated to us the residents and then quickly fixed. I have never waited longer than a few days for maintenance when I have a problem in my apartment. The trash does pile up, but it is cleaned up and thrown away the next day. The staff are extremely nice and lovely people!
I stayed in this apartment for almost two years. Their service is bad. After moving out for about one month, I did not get any noficiations about my check. When I stayed at there, their maintain is good but it is really slow. Their front desk staff is really bad. They only find tons of excuses to push their responsibility out and will say we will solve it. Once, our department's washer was broken. And we submitted the maintenance order. We waited for almost two months to get it fixed Actually, they just moved a washer from another department to our place. Their management is good. Only their front staff is really really really really really terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides, if you are a study guy, please do not choose it. If you stay in the swimming pool area, you will be bothered from the party the music a lot of times even if the time is soooo late, 1 or 2am. Last, their fire alarm always ring at night. I experience several times at night, 3am, 5am, 1am.......
The station is nice and location is great, Not too far from campus. Price is reasonable and maintenance is not too bad. I would recommend living here.
do not live here unless you hate yourself
I currently live at The Station at Five Points. I have had nothing but positive experiences with all of the staff members. The apartments are furnished which I absolutely love. There are also so many amenities that have helped me so much such as the shuttle to campus, the free printing every month, the gym, etc. I love it here so much that I even resigned!
If I had the option to give no stars I would. I’ve lived here for 2 years, this years management is way better than last years. However, there a communication issue and when it came to insurance never told me the correct email to send it to so they stole $25 a from me not telling me the reason why. It took a parent getting involved to get a full answer and my money back. Whatever security company they have now charges you $75 to get a room key if you’re locked out and most of the time they’re never there to give parking passes; resulting in many of my friends getting towed. You pay 779-800+ a month for a place that barely works half the time and the only combiner thing about it is location. Again I enjoy the original staff they started out with this year, they’re all awesome people but I wish the rest of the staff could mirror that. What gets me the most is the maintainer does nothing, and no one from the office will communicate that they don’t have anyone in staff to help. We’ve had a light bulb since December and it still hasn’t been fixed even with the multiple amounts of requests we have put in. Take my advice and find somewhere else to live. It’s not worth being overcharged for air conditioners that never work during the summer and a good portion of staff that doesn’t communicate.
I’ve lived at Station for about a month now. There are many things I love about living here, like my apartment itself, events and perks for residents, and helpful/ responsive staff. I also love the amenities; I have used the pool, gym, tanning room, business center, and the pool table. Overall, I really feel like Station is a great place to live and that the staff is attentive and happy. I really only have a couple of things I don't like. One of them is the noise, which really doesn't have to do with the apartment complex & has more to do with living with college kids. The other is that it’s kind of dirty in the stairways/ garage/ elevators. I think they’re doing a lot of work to make this place awesome & I look forward to the rest of my time here.
