First off I gotta say the prices are fair, for NYC. The food quality is very good! Food was delicious, especially the beast burger! We sat outside with a great view of the statue of liberty and all the birds roaming around too! Lastly the place uses real dishes which for me makes the food that much better.
If I go back I would order the torch spicy chicken sandwich and onion rings again. I was surprised how good it was in spite of how many customers there was. My husband enjoyed the chili soup as well.
The food was delicious, however, it was too crowded because it's the only restaurant on the Statue of Liberty Island. It took us over 30 minutes waiting in line to get something to eat. There should be more food options on the island. Also could use more umbrellas for the outdoor seating area.
Idk…I got rotten lettuce and nobody seemed to care. As much money as we paid for 2 burger meals you would expect a bit more quality. Cafeteria staff should be on the lookout and replace items that look bad. If I saw it..they saw it too.
Ok the food is not the absolute greatest but the fries and especially the onion rings were delicious. I didn't like the panini but my husband and daughter did. The burger was alright. Both of my daughters ate it happily. Coffee was good too. They are pretty efficient inside and it was a beautiful day to eat outside, no birds flocking around and no bugs. We were running late getting here so I'm super grateful for this restaurant! One of my girls was starting to turn into a hangry monster. Lol So is it the absolute best food? Of course not. Is it convenient? Absolutely!
Food is just okay, burger has chicken that partially cooked. Not at all close to what you get at any other burger outlets like shake shack or McDonalds yet they price it so much. I wont have food here again.
Better than expected food and service, considering they have a captive clientele that can't eat anywhere else. Service was incredibly fast: we were in an out in less than 10 minutes, food in hand. The fries were generously served one order was enough for three people and delicious. Outdoor seating facing the water is fantastic.Food: 4/5
Food is a step above what you expect for a major attraction, but still not good. Okay if you are hungry and still want to do more on Liberty or Ellis islands. Of course, you don't come to Liberty Island for the food. Prices were reasonable. 5 star overall for what it is.Food: 3/5
A welcome nice, clean, respite with many selections that we did not expect to see at a national monument. Each server/cashier tend to take one order at a time, which made us feel safe for allergies. My wife is gluten intolerant, and they have gf pizza and buns. The server waited ten minutes for the pizza to be made and served no one else during that time. This is a good practice to eliminate errors. Plenty of pre made salads and sandwiches for the quick bites. Five of us ate at this cafe- while the food looks great, it was way lacking in flavor. Two of us had the cheese burger, one had the beast burger, one had the New York burger. The burgers did not come with mustard, mayo, or ketchup. They did provide three packets of ketchup, which we thought was for the fries, but not enough for the burger too! If you eat here I’d ask at the counter for burger condiments. The chicken fingers kids meal had a funny after taste. Pretty pricey for the lack of flavor in this lunch.
