Staybridge Suites Fargo

There are cheaper but nicer hotels in Fargo. Stay somewhere else! I tried to check in early 1pm and the girl was pretty rude about saying no. Then I check in at 3 and do not get the room I booked because it doesn’t exist in their hotel which she suggested I was lying about. I showed her the booking and she shrugs and says nothing she can do as there were apparently no rooms with king beds left anywhere in the whole hotel. I then had to interact with her later as I had a sofa bed but no linens in the room for it. Some of the staff were good. The laundry lady, morning front desk lady and overnight guy all helpful. The evening dinner lady apparently only likes her regulars and veterans. Food offerings: I am going to admit, this was my reason for picking this hotel. Not having extra food costs. But even being free didn’t redeem the offerings. The food warmers do not work well. Cold sausage, cold eggs, cold potatoes that weren’t even warmed up enough initially. The social hour offerings were kinda weird. You should offer lettuce and cheese if you’re having “tacos”. Cleanliness: Ever had surprise guests and had to make your house look as presentable as possible in 30 minutes? That is the theme in the guest rooms. Sticky lamp, my bare feet stuck to the floor in front of the sink, the couch was apparently purchased at a frat house garage sale. The hallways smelled. I overheard the housekeepers talking about the less than great comments about cleaning as one was overseeing the work that day. This review probably reads “Karen” but I travel a lot and have had this service at other hotels but they aren’t claiming to be a 3 star hotel. I pay a bit more, I do expect a bit more. If I get a cheap room, I would be super content with a little dirt, cold food, and a passive aggressive front desk person. There are many nicer hotels in that area, I just am recommending them to you over this one.

This hotel was terrible. The smell throughout the building was horrible. I had planned to stay for 3 nights and I checked out after one night. The hallway next to my room smelled like vomit in the evening, and the room had only a small window air conditioning unit that did not circulate the air well throughout the entire suite. My clothes had a very distinct gross smell to them after checking out. I received no receipt, even after calling and requesting a receipt to be emailed to me. I had to physically go into the hotel before leaving town to get a hard copy of my receipt. I will certainly not be recommending this location to anyone else.

Great place. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. Clean everything. Nice amenities. The kitchenette was great. The manager Obada, and his team are obviously motivated to make this a great place. I stay at a lot of hotels and rarely receive service worth a review, this was a pleasant exception.Rooms: 5/5

Hotel staff was pleasant but the room cleanliness was lacking. King side bed comforter had stains on it so we removed the cover. Queen size bed had obviously fresh stains.There was also a tote back left from a previous stay that was found behind the bedroom chair. There were still dishes in the dishwasher.

We have been staying at this hotel for the past few years whenever we are in Fargo. We've always had a good experience except for our most recent stay. Our room was not cleaned properly. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The coffeemaker still had the used coffee filter with ground coffee in it.The only staf that was friendly was the lady who checked us in. The others were not friendly at all.

Stayed 2 x recently. 1st time charged for 2 rooms...was a mess to getten taken care off. Today the TV didn't work. They sent multiple people to fix it and got it to work if you stand right next to it. We ask for a possible different room and we're told" that probably wouldn't help". Staff is friendly, but as my significant other is a platinum diamond member we have come to expect the best from IHG and have been let down recently by this hotel and a couple others involving us to have to change rooms etc due to room issues ie refrigerator, TV, shower head, heat control. Rooms: Have had issues

Shortage of staff, hotel parking lot was not cleaned of snow causing hazard conditions, rooms dirty with items broke within room, staff misleading about hot tub working when it was not and hasn’t been for months. I have stayed here for years but no more, Dirty, dirty dirty and getting run down fast!Rooms: 2/5
