Stone Junior High School

My Daughter was in this school, She was Threatened by another student . My Daughter asked the teacher to permit her to go see the Dean and the teacher did not allow it, When the Bell Rang The Girl violently Physically touched my daughter., this matter could have been prevented if the teacher would have cared . This issue became a Huge problem and honestly speaking I believe that the Board of Education should really look into this school and Look into all the staffs Training when it comes to teaching and the safety of our children. My wife and I withdrew Our Daughter that day and not placed her in a Better Caring school where we know Our Kids are Safe.

7th grade: This is a horrible school I have been bullied here for no reason the students here are disrespectful I have been told that someone wanted to "smash" me and then in the lunch line people just cut in front of you. The school has so much graffiti on it and you can't do nothing all without being judged Do not go here terrible school do not go here!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8th grade: ...........

Stone is a great school. The science program there is amazingly exceeding when you walk in the room you can see how many first place they took at the regional fair. My sister and I both did the program. My sister went to Washington dc for ecybermission. We also have laptops that we are able to bring home if you paid for the insurance. Yes it is in the "hood" but the hood it not as bad as it was. And every middle schools have there issue like southwest the have bomb threats almost every testing day. Central has more and worst fights then us that happen on campus. Most of the fights happen out side of campus. I am a straight a African American female that takes all advance courses and takes geometry I am also on the dance team and track team. And Im not popular and I don't get bullied. And there are people there who are willing to stand up for you. So STOP catorigizing us as 1 bad school. Apparently you haven't been there to see the good in stone. And for the people who got bullied have you tried the guidance counselors. And if you are wondering I am currently in 8th grade attending stone and I would not move to a different school. So before you let others try and decipher where you or your child goes come check it out first. This is an update on my last review. Like I said before I am an African American girl the got STRAIGHT A'S her WHOLE 8th grade year. The classes I participated in were: Spanish 1, Geometry Honors, Advanced Language arts, advanced world history, advanced science, culinary/fashion, and gym. Even with sport I maintained my gpa. Passed all my exams with A's except for history which was a B. Like I said I was not popular. But I also minded my own business. I don't have social media so I reallt mind my own business. And for all the fights out there... There were maybe 6 fights this whole year that were on campus. One fight was over gummy bears. A lot of the fights were over stupid stuff like boys. I don't have a problem with having a boyfriend at the age but if it is going to cause a lot of drama why go through it. And for the people who said the police are right outside the gate, a lot of people speed through there that is why the police is put there and every public middle school has a police officer. I have been bullied before but never at stone. My bully did go to stone but I have really awesome friends who stand up for me. But you also have to walk like you have confidence. Oh and the only graffiti is in the bathrooms like anywhere else you go. For the person who said it was like he'll. You must just dont like going to school. Cause hell is a place where it burns forever and you keep burning. And there a great teachers everywhere on ALL TEAMS NOT JUST EXPLORERS. And they are making huge improvements on the school. Like I said all schools have their downfalls. And my source of these downfalls is from a police officer who works at a middle school in that area. I loved stone and I know people who were bullied my bestfriend was bullied my her so-called friends but I stuck by her side when times got rough. And she is now friends with some of those people.

The two negative things I have to say about stone is, having to walk 500+ feet or across the school and have four minutes todo so not to mention there are hundreds of kids to get trough and they might stop in front of you & the work is always in paper despite having laptops.

I was sitting in class and a kid asked if I wanted to buy some Heroin I said no and told the teacher the teacher was high on some Drugs and fell asleep to Candy Crush on his phone. Then I went to my next class and This White Guy Named Keith With chains and said gang gang and left He also liked fetishes....:-)))) he had man strippers
