Stone Terrace Bed & Breakfast

We received our one night stay as a gift and had no idea what to expect. Tom and Sue’s hospitality made us feel so welcome! We were able to relax in several of the common areas and I particularly enjoyed reading in the library (they have a great variety of reading material) and sitting in the front room as the sun came through the windows in the morning. Breakfast was delicious and again, exceeded expectations. There is a high attention to detail in the 1910 architecture as well as with the modern amenities. Look forward to another “stay cation” in the future. Would definitely recommend.

Everything from the warm hospitality and comfortable rooms to the amazingly delicious homemade breakfast made this a stay to remember. We each had our favorite common rooms of the house and loved the feeling like we were family as soon as we checked in. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a different stay-cation or a special night visiting Chicago.

My parents love staying here and during their last visit it was my mother's birthday. The innkeepers were above helpful to me when I wanted to orchestrate a surprise for her during her stay. I can't wait to visit there myself!

Beautiful, well renovated, and historic bed and breakfast on the lake. Excellent breakfast and service all around.
