Excellent and timely work by Scott and the crew at Straighline. Got referred by my car dealer after an accident and could not have asked for a better experience except for the accident. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company, set realistic expectations from the beginning and kept me updated regularly. If you need body work, this is the place!
They were quick to get us scheduled for some body repairs after our car was stolen. They talked directly to our insurance, which was super helpful and had our car back to us in a little over a week. The work was excellent and the car looks even better than when we bought it!
They didn't do a professional job, only limited to the body they did install another reinforcement bar that I had to chase after from the wreckers yard, and also pried together the headlamp housing portion of the chassis to the best of their abilities. However, I gave specific instructions to not destroy any other "wrecked" parts and to simply return to the customer, and they still destroyed or disposed of the left hand headlamp, which had a dipping beam mechanism that doesn't come with US market headlamps. I also had to come back after two months because I noticed some long screws not fully installed on the radiator that they installed. I also noticed after 2½ long years that there was a missing vacuum line, and a second vacuum line was disconnected from the engine Air filter housing. I'm partly satisfied that I've got my car running again, but extremely disappointed of every other missing detail, so I now have to travel to Europe and purchase the entire left headlamp assembly brand new or figure out a wreckers yard over there, all because they couldn't follow instructions from the customer.
I cannot recommend this body shop as they are selective about the jobs they take. They seem to be an “insurance only, full replacement” shop. They are not willing to quote small dent/paint repair jobs. They will gladly refer you out, but do not accept cash paying customers who merely want dents repaired instead of full panel and door replacements.
Was referred to this shop by a friend and could not be more impressed by the quality and speed of service. Needed some work done on my 2017 Kia Rio and they worked within my budget and had everything done within a few weeks. Great communication and setting of expectations throughout, highly recommended!!
After FIXX Auto jacked their initial estimate by $5k once they learned I had some insurance, but not all and told me it would be 30 days, I asked around. Was referred by another professional. 10 days and $5k less, my car is perfect again. Scott is professional, honest, and great at what he does. I will refer everyone I know!
The people at Straightline were fantastic. My vintage Jeep Wrangler was in an accident and my insurance did not cover it. Straightline worked within my budget and with what was practical for the repairs. The work came out beautifully, beyond my expectations.
I have had Straightline repaint both the rear bumper of my Mini as well as the front bumper, fenders, and hood of my 2010 BMW 328i. The work is top notch and I am picky! They did an amazing job on the BMW which has black paint. I looks better than it did when new. They have great attention to detail and use PPG products The best. Their prices are VERY fair. I am super pleased and would recommend to anyone. Scott and the crew are super friendly and even sent pictures of the BMW as the work progressed! :-
I recommend this place to everyone I know who needs bodywork and paint done. I’ve worked with them 4 times and, while I hope I don’t keep getting hit, I never mind coming back.
Small, super dedicated staff. Short hours, expert skills. Location is great for me, too, on and off the high ways needed nearby.
