We are so happy here! Beautiful apartment with a lot of living space, no parking restrictions or hassle, well maintained common spaces and every age group represented in the community. Living here as a family instead of a one family home has improved our life and freed us from chores. The office staff is friendly and thorough. Kim Nicholson answered every question we could possibly have and gave us several tours. There are great amenities for sports and pets. Great location in Charlotte and it feels like a neighborhood insulated from the city. We love the red brick. No regrets!

A strange review but it may be helpful for people relocating from other cities - I don’t know where to start. From the very start, the entire management team was clear, thorough, and accommodating. In particular, prior to signing our lease, Kim Nicholson reached out to us when a different unit came available that better met our needs, gave us a thorough tour of the property when we came to visit, and kept us updated throughout the entire process. We did not end up signing the lease as we found alternative housing, but I was so impressed with the professionalism and welcoming nature of the leasing office that I felt it important to leave this review.

Location is great and we were reasonably satisfied with our apartment as a temporary arrangement. However, I have reason to believe that the sudden increase in our rent is being used to cover the cost of renovations, not to OUR apartment, but to surrounding units recently vacated. I resent the idea that we are essentially being charged for improvements to someone ELSE'S apartment.

Strawberry Hill complex have no electric power just section 5321 a,b,c,d,e, in less than one month. June-July 2022 we can spent 5 hours without energy. There is no power for a long period of time when small storm happens. In the same complex other’s apartment keep. This is the second time in a row sleeping without power in less than a month 3 times so something related to our power sector need to be repair. They haven’t do anything, I just signed a lease for a year. They mention is a Duke matter. Duke says is a complex issue !!!

Lived here for about 2.5 years. Place was reasonable as far as rent. Location was great. Building maintenance crew was great when there was an issue. Front office was terrible. So many issues with them messing up our paperwork and causing us headaches. They messed up our documentation with Duke energy, in which we paid another tenants energy and ours did not get paid. Then they tried to threaten us with eviction because of their mistake. We got it all straightened out, then they did it AGAIN and blamed us AGAIN for their mistake. They never apologized for their mistakes - we got out of there as soon as we found a house.

I lived at Strawberry Hills for 2 years in a 1 bedroom 1.5 bath unit. The pros: There is no comparison in rent price for this large sized apartment in this location of town. Rent only goes up about $25 per lease, which is reasonable if compared to other management companies. Maintenance is very prompt – call office if urgent matter is not resolved in 24hrs and it will get fixed. They have monthly events for all the residents if that’s something you like. Walking distance to Fresh Market, Rite Aid and a number of restaurants. Staff is communicative and forthright about safety concerns that occur on the property. The cons: OLD apartments even though they are moderately clean looking and functioning. That means all the doors and windows leak air electric bill, there are sometimes mold issues on the ceiling in the living room gets painted over by maintenance, there is that “old” smell to the kitchen cabinets and closets easily covered up by products, poor insulation between upstairs/downstairs units neighbors can smell what you are cooking despite using exhaust fan and can hear EVERYTHING you are doing above normal conversation level and they have to work on the water pipes at least 3 times a year your water gets shut off so they can perform temporary fixes; gets more annoying than you might think. If you have a crazy/disruptive neighbor there is nothing the office can do, you just have to constantly call the police until this causes the neighbor to be evicted – honestly it’s just easier to move at that point. Warning: If you have health issues or have moderate to severe environmental allergies, do NOT move here. They will become exponentially worse. If you can’t tell by the above, my primary reason for moving was my disruptive upstairs neighbor if I told you all the things she did you wouldn’t believe me, but I could not live a normal life. My secondary motive for moving was my allergies, which became gradually so bad that my health started being affected. Since I have moved 5 months ago to a farther, but newer apartment complex, I have normal neighbors and my allergies have returned to mild it is fully Spring right now and all negative heath affects have disappeared. All things considered, I would recommend this complex if you do not have allergies and are not too concerned with up to date finishes.

My apartment was in perfect condition when I moved in. Everyone in the rental office has been extremely professional and great to work with. All of the pre-move activities went smoothly. I really enjoy living here!

Strawberry Hill Apartments are wonderful, I have lived here almost 3 years and love it, it is quiet and always well maintained. The maintenance staff are amazing they are so responsive to all your requests and super friendly and thorough. Kudos!!!

I have lived at Strawberry Hill for 8 years and just renewed my yearly lease. Townhouse is spacious, maintenance is great and they come quickly, wonderful walking areas... Hope to be here for years to come.

Strawberry Hill Holiday Party was the ultimate success. Great food, beautiful atmosphere....and the best part was the horse and carriage ride. What an amazing way to start off the Holiday season. Huge thanx to the office staff for being So Welcoming. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
