Spoke to Rosemarie in corporate office regarding Subway Store # 49140-0 in Whitehouse Station,NJ and not only did the store screw me over corporate does nothing to compensate, I'm sorry is all they say,if your name is on the product you would think that you would care about your reputation and expect your store owners to follow your guidelines or have accountability for their actions. I will never go to Subway again. Great way to do business, keep it up and you will bankrupt soon too. Greedy corporate America destroying our country!

To whom it may concern: I generally like Subway. It's one of few options I have for lunch and because it has vegetables and it's pretty good with rewards/coupons, so much that I end up going there for lunch ~75% of the time. I'm commenting today to say the new reward system is really stingy and it's dumb that it's being advertised as this new exciting thing. It previously was every $100-130 you spend you get a free foot long (or every $50-$65 you get a free six inch). Which is pretty reasonable in my opinion and made me use my rewards card every time I went. Now it's every $200 dollars you spend you get $2 back?? This whole token thing is just put in place to confuse everyone to not realize that the rewards system is barely worth it anymore. I also had enough points for one or two free foot longs and now they have been converted to 'tokens' which can't get me half a sub. Very lame Subway, very lame.

One of the greatest disappointments in culinary history was the abandonment of the best steak and cheese ever created, and SUBWAY you did that! Wanna fix the franchise? Bring back that super yummy steak and cheese from the nineties and the v cut sub rolls to contain the awesomeness:) Philly had never been so jelly!

I had experienced discrimination at an interview at the location on Berlin Rd Cromwell CT, and the company "Subway" never even replied back to me. The local owner is not known for being a "nice" person, I have worked with people who also worked for this owner at the same time -- they complained. I wanted to talk to "Subway" not him, I submitted a complaint, they haven't gotten back to me. It was 4/23/18. Now its 5/7/18. So, I am hoping there is progress made on how this company treats people. By looks of it, how they have ignored it completely. lol I mean, its not 1980 folks!!! lol Get with the changing times!!! And I'm posting my complaint on every subway headquarters for the PUBLIC to also see. Until I get a reply back from corporate!!! This is not an isolated issue either if you have traveled, they tend not to employ minorities. I didn't realize it was an issue until this happened to me at an interview, and then I was like "oh yeah, when to do you get service from a brown person like me at Subway"?? Been to many states. lol As a minority, the company Subway hasn't even apologized for an incident of (racial) discrimination. I mean, managers come out for other people to say sorry about their squashed bread or cold fries, let alone an incident of (racial) discrimination. This is the difference when you report, being white versus being colored. You will get ignored!!! I eat cold fries, I eat any kind of bread, lol, but from now on if I ever see any type of injustice anywhere, I'm typing. Everyone will know. lol

Attention prospective franchise owners do not I warn do not get into this business. This is a great way to loose your hard earned savings. You can claim to be a franchise owner as a title but in reality you won’t be able to hire anyone else to make your sandwiches and make any money you will have to be the person behind the counter. This used to work ok for families that would work at the store but this brand is so dead that even that model is not financially Feasible you might as well as go get a job somewhere and get paid benefits and earn a decent wage without having to pay $15 grand in franchise fee and God knows how much in initial investment. When my stupid self got into this business in 2008 it costed me close to 200K to open and it was a failure I sold the location for $140 within 2 years and the location eventually had to close because this greedy corporation put another franchise less than 2 blocks away. They take 13% of your gross sale monthly and also runs promotion where your have to honor it like the traditional $5 foot long when I was in business with them. The food cost and operational cost remained high but their $5 price point left no $$ for the franchise owner. Do Yourself a Favor don’t waste your time, effort & $$$ on this franchise. They don’t care about you they don’t put up a single $ to open up a unit. When and if it closes it’s your hard earned $$$$$
