Subway

SERVICE IS TYPICALLY ALWAYS GREAT... however, I arrived at 8:45PM, OPEN SIGN TURNED OFF. Screenshots on my phone taken at 8:53PM after I knocked on front door for a few, and no answer...knocking b/c I wanted to have a chat HOWEVER they were staffed b/c just before I left one person came out and waved at me. The posted business hours for Sunday today are 9AM-9PM. C'mon ya'll!! Have some passion in what you do! I've worked retail my whole life... If you can't hack the hours don't ruin business it for those who write your checks!

Her name is Mary B, she's been there the last few times I stopped in... her attitude sucks, she ask "what do you want" is a demanding tone, and when ever it's time to pay she always starts making other people's sandwich. I don't have to work there to know the common sense of finishing one guest before the others. I was there for a solid 15 min waiting for her. Over all the food is good ,but all the employees there aren't very good. Half the time you wait out front for 5 mins just for one to finally come out. Thought that was what the bell was for ,but what ever right. The people suck , not the company or the food though.

Ordered online and we did extra ingredients and one sandwich was made with 2x ingredients and other did not get any of the extras.. The bread was extremely hard and tasted old. Staff was very unfriendly, on phone when called in as well as in store when picked up order. This was first and last time we will order from this location

Where has the love gone subway? You use to be so much better but it seems like the energy and love for your food has gone. Granted you have some great sandwiches but it seems like you’re always out of our favorite bread.

Very friendly staff and efficient workers, I was in a few days ago and I was being helped by the short young lady gracie, She made me feel very welcomed and made my sandwich perfect! Highly recommend!

I visited this store tonight st 6:15pm and the gentleman with glasses says I have to tell you we only have Italian and herb and wheat bread. Its always something at this store. It's an hour into the dinner hour and you have no bread. Horrible for customer service. I think I will start going to the Subway on 1st in Ankeny they ALWAYS have what we want!!!

Other Subways around town are hit and miss, but we have always had good service here. Just got the best salad ever here. Friendly service. Worth driving a bit farther out.

Worst subway in all of ankeny came here on Monday at 7:30 the kid was a complete a$$ literally was talking about us under his breathe and made not my fault he didn’t have anything prepared would get mad when I would ask for things and would walk to the freezer like come on the lettuce is already cut for you..? the whole 4 minute interaction the most unpleasant thing I’ve ever had in a restaurant will never return

It’s dirty at this location. The guy making my wrap fumbled with the chicken and bacon. Some of it fell into the vegetables and he didn’t pick it out. He didn’t cut through my wrap all the way. He also didn’t know how to fold a wrap. I told him they were out of lids and he didn’t help me get one for my drink. Very irritating. I’ll stick with the subway on 18th st.

Eat here every now and then in the mornings. One of the few that are open before 8am. Plus they have the sausage patties. A must have for breakfast. The gal who is usually there is really fast and nice.
