I have been seeing Renita for 2 years now for my waxes. She is absolutely wonderful, always professional, gets the job done well and has such a warm, friendly vibe. I’m now in another borough and still make the trek to see her. Pricing is good too. Definitely recommend!
Their service is good. The staff is welcoming and usually the technician I often request, is my number 1! Friendly, diligent, careful and caring! Location wise a very convenient, right by train station, midtown. I only give 3 stars because their phone number never seems to be functioning, and it could be a little of a hassle to get in touch with them.
m so disappointed with the service I received. My wax, I would say, was not done properly. Also, I paid for an ingrown extraction and she took 3 minutes. I should’ve realized then that I would not be satisfied with the work done. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Definitely will be contacting another business for my future waxes.
I love Sugaring NYC. The staff is always bubbly and welcoming but not at this location. The girl working Thursday nights front desk was really rude and doesn’t seem to like her job. Which says a lot because first impressions are important and she’s the first person you speak to coming in the door. Although my esthetician was great. Her name was Sharon. She was really nice and did her thing.
Easy to access location. Fantastic staff, clean and pleasant atmosphere. Prices are on higher end but considering the service, location, and brand - it is expected.
This is not about the staff or experience. They are lovely and I've consistently had good experiences over the years. This is for the owners/management situation. As I was checking out today, I noticed that the iPad set up as a register was bursting apart. Clearly a swollen battery, and it clearly has been a while. I was horrified. This thing is at face level with the receptionist and will eventually explode or catch fire. A completely unneeded tragedy ready to happen. Replace it. Seriously.
I checked in at the front desk, but the receptionist left immediately afterwards leaving me alone in the waiting room. I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time because she never told my waxer that I had arrived. I had normal waxing experiences before and sugaring was infinitely more painful for me.
