Clean. Well organized. So many tasty treats. There's serious pantry item here too but I come for nostalgic treats my father used to treat us to from here. Shrimp chips, ginger and tamarind candy. Yeah I could get them in Queens but he bought us here after dinner on Canal Street.
I come here often to pick up boba pearls and tasty snacks. The store is filled with tasty treats. It's clean and organized but, it's on the smaller side compared to other stores in the area. The staff here can be hit or miss. Sometimes, they tolerate your presence and other times, they are just downright rude. One of the staff members walked right into me like I wasn't even there.
Wonderful, clean “dry goods.” Tea pots, utensils, etc. They do have many sauces, spices, snacks, dry noodle mixes, frozen foods dumplings, buns, fish balls, fish, and a small refrigerated section that included noodles & tofu. A fantastic selection of teas. It is a small store but immaculately clean & organized.
I'm sure you'll find plenty of other Asian grocery stores in Chinatown. We prefer this one because it's extremely well lit and clean. The best deals can be found in the frozen section. If you have have steamer you MUST get the frozen shu mai and various dumplings that are super inexpensive! It's probably silly, but we also grab a variety of SPAM to mix it into our fried rice. Oh and their variety of kitchen supplies, dishes and utensils is really helpful too. You can easily supplement your everyday stuff with their equipment. Did I mention that's inexpensive too? :- Don't expect to find your pick of "fresh fish" or produce here, that's what the neighboring stores are for. I recommend this as your Asian grocery for dry goods and frozen foods. They've got a lot to offer in a little space.
Good selection of Asian cooking ingredients and other essentials. Anything from 10kg rice sacks to specialty mushrooms and spices. Among other things, a huge selection of SPAM managed to impress me. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
Well organized. Clean. Nice selection of everything. Picked up a number of things that we can't get where we live. Really nice store.
This place is my go-to in Chinatown. Easy to find what you need and everything you need to find. Plus super great staff.
Excellent place to stock up on Asian cooking ingredients. They have everything you need! Note they don’t sell fresh foods. Will go again!
This is my go to quick grocery because they have the basics that I need and the best part - never too busy or crowded. It's a small grocery, so the selection is limited. Prices are decent. They don't really buy have produce here, but a good for basics and for snacks. Unlike some of the other markets in the area, it's also brightly lit, so generally, a comfortable and relaxed shopping experience. Can't say that about too many Chinatown markets!
What a great store! We'll be coming back whenever we are cooking anything Asian inspired. This store offers fantastic selection.
