Great customer service went out their way to help me after a breakdown of their equipment was able to get back up and running with their 24 hr 7 day emergency service highly recommend

I rented a 6000lb fork truck to unload my steel building being delivered to me. The fork truck was suppose to show up at 7 am.  That time came and passed and no fork truck, I called the company and asked where the truck was and that I had rented a rough terrain fork truck and it isn't here. The person finally found something after a few minutes and said a 6000lb truck and I said yes. They said let me look into this and call you back. 40 min later I get a call back saying they don't have anything there about me renting a truck.  I then asked how did you know I rented a 6000lb truck then because I never said the size of it. The person immediately changed the subject and said let me see how soon I can get you a truck. The earliest was noon and then I told the person I have a steel building on the way to my house and not sure of the exact time it was going to get here but if I can't unload it then it will cost me another $5000 to get the building back to me. The person then looked into another store close by and they could get it to me by 11.  I said ok hopefully the truck doesn't show up before then. 20 Min after I got off the phone the truck pulls up. I had 2 hrs to unload a steel building piece by pice by hand of a total weight of almost 15000 lbs because this company failed to follow through with a commitment. Luckily my father was around to help me unload the truck and the truck driver was a huge help with assisting us in unloading it as well.  For sunbelt... well they are trash and wouldn't ever use them or recommend them to anyone.  Lucky for sunbelt we got it unloaded in an hr and a half or they would of been picking up the bill. Oh and btw if you rent something from them plan on it being almost 3 times as much as the price it says on there website.

Rented a 6’ wood chipper, staff were quick and helpful. An employee went over operation with me before we left. The chipper was an absolute beast and had no problem chipping up branches up to 6”. If it fit in the chute it was chopped into mulch in no time. A job I thought would take all day only took about 2.5 hours. When I brought it back the staff credited me back for a half day rental since I’d only used it 2.5 hrs. The equipment was well maintained, staff was excellent. I’ll definitely be returning to this sunbelt location in the future. For the quality of the equipment the price was an excellent value.

This review is specifically related to the people and my overall experience at this location.  During my rental I interacted with several team members at the Pineville location and its my pleasure to write this review and recognize their responsiveness, communication and effort during my rental.  While unfortunately the equipment did not work out like we had hoped, this team did a tremendous job with the situation and handled things like true pros.  Bravo Frank Adam, James driver, and James small engine tech - you guys rock, keep up the great work.

Good customer service and easy to deal with. They have a lot of equipment you can rent. I rented a tiller attachment for the skid steer and it worked perfectly. I was very happy with the product and customer service

Be careful about this company as they lie to you about there equipment as i have rented a equipment from them with what was discuss over the phone about if this is the right machine to used for the job and when it arrive, the machine was very weak and did not do the job that the salesman has told me over the phone so they came and got the machine and only refund me half of the bill when i had no use for the machine as it did not do the job that i described to the salesman that recommend the machine to me for rent. Very Disappointed as all they want is your money and not care about there customer.

I rented ladders from this company all the time and because I typically only need it for an hour they work me in a 2 hour rental.... EXCEPT THIS LOCATION. This location has one of those employees that gets a thrill from telling customers "no". He said he would do it but on my license it only showed I've rented from them 2 times. Every time I said I rent from you guys all the time he was quick to interrupt and correct me and say "no you have only rented from us twice". I told him I have employees that come get the ladder from them which uses their license but uses my CC. We both got agitated and he said "well, guess what I'm walking away, have a nice day". He then walked away knowing there was only 1 1/2 hours left until they closed and no one else to help me and if I didn't have it back by the time they closed it was be a 24 hour rental. To make a long story short it caused me to not get the ladder back in time as I was 5 minutes late dropping it off they close at the ridiculous time of 5pm.  To top it all off they didn't even have fiberglass 16 foot step ladders and they only have wobbly 16 foot aluminum step ladders. Those ladders are ILLEGAL for an electrician to use. Also, every other location seems to have fiber glass. They also do not charge anything different for fiber glass and aluminum even though the aluminum ladders are dangerous and about 1/2 the price of a fiber glass ladder if you were to buy them. So, if you use sunbelt a lot and you feel like you have built a good working relationship with them, avoid this location as they will absolutely ruin that relationship.  I will never use a sunbelt again after this. Cannot remember the guys name who helped me but he was middle aged and missing all kinds of teeth. You would think with this location  charging people full day rentals for just an hour of use, they could get their employees dental insurance.

Great service from Chris and Carl. Equipment is often faulty but Chris’ customer service and ability to get stuff resolved keeps us coming back on a weekly Basis for all our equipment needs.

They treated me like trash! Like the money I spend with them meant and means nothing! I’m deeply offended! I’m a small minority business owner. This has taken place several times. An it doesn’t feel good at all!

Rented a stair climbing dolly to move a new refrigerator into my house.  Two flights of stairs with ease!  Great staff and fair prices!  Fast service in and out!
