Sunglass Hut

Had a great experience buying sunglasses here today. Manny was extremely helpful and really personable. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location next time I want to buy a new pair.

I walked in. The counter person said "Get out of here! We don't cater to your kind" I replied "I am BLACK, Sir!" He took off his sunglasses and replied "Indeed you are. This changes everything! How can I help you?" "I'm here for a pair of sunglasses" I exclaimed. "Good. Because we sell those here." he answered.

Great management, Manny went the extra mile For me and found exactly what I needed and took care of me I was very impressed. It’s a small store but I highly recommend going the staff there is amazing

NEVER AGAIN. Used to get a decent amount of sunglasses from SH but after this last weekend and the way I was treated at your store in NYC 2218 Broadway, never again. Went in with some friends to look at sunglasses tried some on and we left. The security guy comes out into the middle of the street and in front of everyone accused me of stealing sunglasses. Saying that I had the Prada sunglasses and to give them back. I have never been accused of stealing anything. Ever. I have 0 reason to steal a $300 pair of sunglasses. I followed him back inside with my friends, he was still insisting that I took them. I Told him to search me if he wanted, I told my friends to empty their bags. I was getting loud because after embarrassing me in the street now they're trying to tell me to leave without an apology. I stood there until the manager went to the camera where 'he couldn't make it out exactly what was happening' I never received an apology and I was so livid that we left. BEST part is that all my friends are white and I am Mexican and I was the one that was singled out. I understand that employees have to do their jobs but there's a way to handle situations and going after someone in the middle of the street accusing them of stealing is not the way to do it. Maybe provide them with some kind of training. I don't know but left a bad taste, will never buy from sunglass hut again.

We had a really good experience at this particular store. Male staff member gave us a good deal on 2 pairs of ray ban.

Small store, did not have the latest Oakley glasses. Great staff in general.

Store manager Lisa is phenomenal. Will definitely go back every time I need shades!!

Not as large of a selection as others, but they are very nice and helpful
