I will not lie to y'all, I had never done laundry at a laundromat before. When I moved to the city full-time in February, I felt like Nemo with no in-unit or in-building laundry. I walked into Supreme Laundromat for the first time, trying to act like I knew what I was doing. After about 5 minutes of being lost like Jack and Kate, I decided to be vulnerable and ask for help. We all need to be a bit more vulnerable at times. I broke down to Angie, who was the only person staffing the place that day. "This is actually my first-time doing laundry at a laundromat..." I said sheepishly with my tail between my legs. She laughed and patiently walked me step by step through the process. What a gem Angie is. I am now an absolute PRO with my eyes, heart, and soul void of fear. You've never seen someone put a tide pod in a washing machine like I do. THANK YOU SUPREME LAUNDROMAT YOU MADE THE BOY INTO A MAN!
Spacious and clean. I like that you get a few minutes more per dryer quarter than neighboring business, but the dryers don't get that hot, so I ended up spending just as much to dry. I'd probably go back to wash and then hang dry clothes at home.
Clean and excellent the workers are very helpful as well 10/10!
It's a small place, very peaceful. However, there are not many seats. Most people put their laundry on and then leave and come back when it should be done.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
I've lived in the East Village for 10 years. They are the best no-frills laundry service. The owner, Long, is a very responsible guy. The delivery guy is nice. We do pick up/delivery wash-and-fold. They are super reliable. They keep track of our soap. In a 2 years of having laundry done there 2-3x a week--they had maybe 2 instances where the clothing came back with spots on them. When we showed Long, someone fixed it and he gave us a refund. They are very trustworthy. I stupidly left a very sentimental necklace in my clothing and they saved it for me for two weeks until I realized and called to claim it.
Have had laundry delivered for the last few months during which everything was going well until it wasn’t. One time my clothes were returned caked in mud with a rip in the bag clearly dropped on the sidewalk outside. Another time a navy button down had a yellow stain covering half the shirt. The owner speaks very little English and gets frustrated whenever problems are brought to his attention, insisting that it isn’t his fault. Lot of other laundry places nearby, not worth having to deal with damaged clothing
Clean facilities, helpful staff, and overall dependable. I've been going here to do my laundry for a few years and I'm very happy with the place. I'm a local and recommend this laundromat. They also do tailor work.
A little pricer than other laundromats in the neighborhood. But the facility is always clean and the machines are always reliable so worth the extra quarter or two per machine in my opinion.
The machines are too expensive. 4 dollars and 50 cents for a small wash machine. 25 cents per 5 minutes to use a drying machine.
Very clean and friendly staff. Machines are new and easy to operate. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend.
