Sushi Ogawa

So its been a long time since I've had sushi and this is the place I found, recommend by a friend. I lived in Japan many years and Shush Ogawa did not disappoint. Look forward to the next visit. We had take out, picked up ourselves and ate within 10 minutes. Sushi was nice and fresh, did not stink or taste "fishy."

This quality of fresh tuna is very very rare! The next time in DC I'll return. Even if I have to park in front of an embassy!

I'd heard that the Japanese Embassy often orders from here, so I really wanted to check it out. Been a few times now and this is hands down the best TRADITIONAL sushi restaurant I've been to in DC. It's not necessarily a value sushi restaurant, but I definitely recommend just ordering Omakase and you won't be disappointed.

Just had an extraordinary meal takeout from Sushi Ogawa - the fish was clean and fresh, the octopus was excellent, every piece of ngiri and sushi roll was terrific. The rice is beautiful. I cannot wait to go for omakase in person.

Excellent takeout experience! Nigiri and rolls were delicious and the order was prepared faster than expected. Looking forward to returning for omakase.
