Sushi Thai Restaurant

My first experience here was easily a two or even one star review. We decided to give it another shot since our friends convinced us that our experience was extraordinary. They definitely stepped up their game the second time around to pick up a few extra stars from me. I could grow to like this place.

Our waitress was excellent but we do not care for the lunch chefs.... the steamed dumplings pork/beef tasted strange and had chopped canned string beans as filler! You could taste the metal can bean taste... Our sushi roll had fried shrimp but this had been made up and sitting so long the shrimp was wet/soggy, very little flavor otherwise. The Hot & Sour soup was a corn/egg soup and did not resemble any hot sour I have ever had, it was not even spicy so I sent that back. The waitress said that was not allowed but the manager "made an exception". This seems to be more of a bar/drinking spot than the food being important? We love Thai Pepper on Russell Pkwy and won't stray from there again!

Our waiter Cheryl was absolutely amazing the past couple of times we have been in! She was very tentative and kept checking in on us and getting us the things we needed! She was very polite and sweet and made the personal service just as amazing as the food experience! The sushi is absolutely amazing and delicious! Absolutely my favorite place to go eat now!

Our favorite restaurant in Middle GA!! Sushi Thai has the most incredible food, amazing sushi rolls as well as other regional dishes. The atmosphere is very chill and the service is the friendliest you’ll find. I especially recommend the Beach Roll!

I went there for the first time not too long ago when we had friends from Atlanta visiting. The interior is really nice and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is really cozy and chill. The do serve alcohol; wine and sake, but I don't remember if they serve beer. I think they do. The food is really good; a bit on the pricey side, but really good nonetheless. I got the sushi and steak hibachi. The sushi was fresh and the steak is really tender and juicy. Once again, the food is a bit pricey for the amount you are getting, but the quality makes up for it. The server we had was so pleasant and nice. I don't think I've ever met a server so into his job! Will definitely visit again soon.
