I absolutely love this place! I'm getting married in a few months and was very interested in having a rehearsal brunch here. My fiance, sister, and I came in for lunch to scope the place out. Luckily, the owner, Steven, was working and took the time to speak to us about our event. He was so nice and accommodating! Not to mention the food is amazing and the venue is beautiful! Im so excited to have my rehearsal brunch here. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed.
My husband and I visited Boulder, CO, recently for a less than joyous occasion funeral. Before the "official" gathering, a few of our family members decided to get together for brunch at The Sweet Spot. Our group of 8 were a bit slow to trickle in, and it turned out that not all were in the mood for a meal, but the staff especially Amanda nevertheless were very attentive, kept the waters and coffees topped off, and did not pressure us in the least to vacate the table. We ended up hanging out there for about 90 minutes. My husband and I were hungry, however, and I ordered the shrimp and grits, hubster a more basic breakfast dish, and we got the bacon wrapped dates appetizer. The food was really good, I felt sorry for the members of the group that just opted for coffee! The cafe is situated right next to the golf course and has a really nice view. Not sure if our travels will take us back to Boulder in the foreseeable future, but if they do, we'd certainly consider returning to The Sweet Spot!
Nice variety for breakfast. Sunny and open with patio available. It was not busy until after 9:45am. Seating for a party of 8 not a problem.
1st time in Boulder and we found this hidden jewel. Great service Good coffee Great food breakfast, perfect pancakes. Highly recommend
Great meal, excellent attentive service. It's always fun to go and watch the golfers and have brunch at this establishment. Can't go wrong no matter the weather. :
We had a large group and the waitress didn't come around out table enough. The food was okay, I've had much better though. The prices weren't too terrible for what you got. The view is very nice though and we liked how the restaurant wasn't busy really at all. That was good because it was pretty quiet. Overall, it was an okay experience. I can't say that I would spend my gas to go back however.
Service was very poor. Couple of young girls running the counter who don't have a clue what they're doing. I phoned in an order and they told me it would be ready in 15 minutes or so. I only happened to be 5 minutes away and showed up early, which I would've understood that they didn't have my food ready, since I was early, but they blamed their cook saying he lost the order. The problem I have with that is I literally just phoned it in, how can he lose an order that quickly? Then they said he just got there once he started cooking while I waited at the bar. Which was it, did he just arrive or lose the order? Either way, their service is what earned their 2 star rating. The food was decent enough, props to the cook, especially having to work with those 2 girls. Go somewhere else if you're just after food. If your golfing here which I wasn't, though the course looked nice, you may still be better off going elsewhere.
The food was superb. Some of the best chicken fried steak and gravy ever! We planned to return the next two mornings since the food was so good. Our plans changed and we went home earlier than expected... sorry we didn't get to return. Dine in is currently allowed! Next trip for sure!
Great food in a beautiful place and the best service I have had in YEARS!! Seriously, Run was amazing.
Who knew? Looking for a restaurant in the area and came across this one. On the golf course so it caters to the end of day golf crowd. Got there earlier than the crowd and the server was great and very helpful. Not the most extravagant menu around but what is available was pretty tasty. Took off about the time the patrons were getting loud. Would go back but would probably time it so I was in and out during the quieter time.
