The manager keeps a tight ship as best she can, is accommodating, understanding and a joy to be around. She is a very hard, and strong worker! The Swiss community consist of mostly decent, friendly, and kind people, each with a story. Everyone now coexist peacefully. There was once very humble beginnings to the Swiss Host but now, it is starting to blossom, into a quaint little village. Enjoy your stay!
Friendly management, quiet guests, and clean rooms for a descent price 10/10 would stay here againRooms: 5/5
Slumlords. Nothing but crackheads and junkies all around. The owner cares nothing about anything else but making a dollar. The rooms are WAY less than mediocre, they don't wash your sheets or clean the rooms...can't get a hold of anyone to pay for your room even when you have cash in your hand! The management is never there and no one in the office. Then they try to muscle anyone out of money that they've made an agreement with. This place deserves to be torn down! Do not give them your business!
The rooms are tiny and very dirty. The rooms smell horrible of stale cigerette smoke. The bedding is very stained. This is hands down the nastiest motel I've ever been to. This is the kind of place that people who are making bad choices rent out to conduct their illegal activities. The staff are not friendly and clearly do not care about their job and keeping the rooms clean. I absolutely do not recommend this place, the price is cheap for a reason and you definitely get what you pay for in this situation...actually even though this place is lower priced, it's still costly for what you get...I wouldn't expect to pay more than $20/night for a room in this type of condition! F----
I had stayed here for a couple of months. The staff is great!! 8 have 2 young boys, and even though we were in a rough time in our lives, everyone made us feel very welcome and at home. It is more like a community. Almost a family! Thank you Swiss and everyone there!!
Not worth it. At all. May be one of the cheapest but still too much for what you get. First, getting in is an issue because Gary is reliably on site from 11:00 AM to 2:00 pm, excepting an hour or so for lunch. He may be there an hour or so earlier or later, but you can not predict when the manager will arrive or leave. If that doesn't fit your schedule, be sure to make a reservation and you'll find your key in the mailbox. no kidding. The website advertises extended stay, that means extended to 28 days- then you have to pack up & move out for one night or have the cops throw you out. Amenities; cable, air conditioning, microwave, and pets. That's it. When the Wi-Fi works, maybe one or two nights a week, it really isn't that much different than when it isn't working and I'm not exaggerating. Of the two months I was there, it worked three days in one week only once, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and Thursday I had to refresh my email twice before it opened. Wheel chairs? Forget it. Hot water? Usually, but not alwayse. A bed that should have been replaced in the 1980s? Oh yes, they've got that. Rooms large enough for two people to pass each other without one having to get on the bed? Maybe, I didn't see that room. Clean sheets? On my second week, Dawn told me about the laundromat two blocks up the road. To be fair, she doesn't take kindly to having Dr. Oz interrupted. Finally the clientele, there's generally a few poor working scum, like myself, the rest are a coin toss between oldster homeless folk and young addicts- but don't take my word for it ask a cop. You don't even have to go to the station, they usually drop by at least once a week between ten and two. Nothing says enjoy your stay like Officer Friendly pounding on your door at 1:00 AM wanting to know if you've seen anything. ... I've listed the high points, every day there is worse than the day before. ...
The manager is a thief, I paid for a week in advance and had a problem with another guests. She refused to give me back my money, again my money for the following week. Stay away from this Motel
I've stayed here and Tori is very nice. She is friendly and always smiling. Our room was clean and had everything we needed.
Remember Psycho the movie? Me too that was a great movie lol. No nightmares in wings but this place will haunt your dreams. They do what they and it's better than sleeping outside.
Units are on the low end. When calling good luck trying to get threw to anyone that answers the phone. Weekly rates are affordable. Apx$250 a week for room or cabin unit.
