Tacomania is OK. I reckon they thrive on the convenience factor; location and hours. It has potential to be better... but so far its just OK. Nothing special. I like the salsa, It's tastes fresh, like it was just made. The downside is the pricing on the menu; Tacomania is a bit on the pricey side for mediocre food. There are several Taquerias about a 10 min drive away that are far better... With all the competition in the area Tacomania just needs to provide a better value or absolutely outstanding dishes. At the moment it fails to do either of the two. I found the super tacos are the only thing on the menu that are a value. They are a fair bit larger than the regular tacos and taste the same. ~ Super Burrito - 3/5 I got a Tripas Super Burrito... it came out to almost $15. It was just meh... I asked for extra Crispy Tripas...annnddd it wasn't. Think I'll stick with my standard go to... Taqueria Lorena's. I remember now why I don't stop by here more...
Was in town for business and looked this place up. Seemed pretty legit so if that would give it a try. Ended up being some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Try the tacos but also try the nachos as they were awesome as well. Great customer service and a fun outdoor environment.
Chicken Nachos, Carnitas Tacos and Carne Asada Quesadilla. The Nachos were all I got a chance to photograph! Good food at the right price! BTW Nachos could feed 2-4 people. Friendly staff too!
First time going little brother recommended the place he got tacos and I got a Mexican sandwich called a torta the torta was very dry they didn't use traditional bread just a regular sesame seed bun for hamburgers I was surprised there was absolutely no sauce on the buns the pastor was very dry no flavor not even salt the only ingredients were pastor pickled jalapenos and whole beans the sandwich is very messy and dry when I try to split it apart everything flew out of the sandwich my brother had tacos he said they tasted really well the salsa the green salsa was very tasty I didn't like the red salsa it tastes like marinara with with spice the place was clean the food truck look very clean inside they had their own little lot so that was kind of cool yeah I wouldn't go back but if you've never been I guess you can give it a shot and I heard they're open past 2:00 a.m. so that's good
I like the idea of fast Mexican food restaurant stand that serves mostly tacos, however these tacos are extremely fresh with quality cooked meat... Price is alright. Veggie burgers and meat/cheese quesadillas are on the side as well. I always get my orders on time and the staff is pretty friendly.
The best tacos al pastor always open late and worth the wait! It's actually never a long wait Kid-friendliness: Awesome cooks! Parking: Convenient parking
Authentic taco truck by far the best I’ve had. I’m from Oakland and all the tacos trucks there are delicious. I can’t say the same for San Jose / Santa Clara. It’s been extremely difficult to find a good taco truck out here. Granted I came here hung over but nonetheless their quality of food and taste hits the spot. I appreciate that the carne asada is actually asada! They are open on Sundays! Definitely recommend.
Nothing to write home about but decent food for the price. Make sure to try the orange salsa!Recommended dishesBurrito
I. Love. This. Taco truck. By far some of the BEST meat Carne asada ever. I don't think it has ever disappointed.
I'm going to have to say my two "little" tacos packed a great flavorful punch. I got two taco supers; one with Lengua cow tongue and one with pollo and it hit the spot perfectly. The soft shelled tacos were packed a lot more than it looks from the picture and it was very tasty. This will be my GO TO authentic Mexican grub spot in that area. For $8.40 plus tip you definitely can't go wrong. I liked the outdoor "backyard" bench style set up as well. Mucho gracias
