I noticed that many other reviews say that the portions aren't that good, so your mileage my vary. In my case, considering the fact the airport food pricing are pretty much all scams, this place wasn't that bad. A good ol' burrito bowl of rice, beans, and meat for $9. As long as you don't compare it to what you would get at Chipotle, it's pretty good.
Tasty food but the charge for each extra guacamole, etc was high. Portion sizes are average.
The food was ok, but nothing spectacular. The portions were small. The service was slow even though there were three people in line. They ran out of cilantro for my street taco, which kind of defeats the point of ordering that. But they were cool with letting me substitute anything I wanted.
Worst food experience in a long time. Trash people, making trash food. Doing so as slow as possible, clearly with an intention to get people to leave their line and go next door to smashburger. Whoever the owner is should wake up and pay a visit. They could easily double their daily revenue with employees not intentionally pushing away their guests. Unfortunately, the only people who seem to read the reviews of this place are like me, and coming on here to complain after a sub one-star experience. Do not eat here if it's not already too late.
Gotta give them some stars because the employees were great.
I fly through SJC every single week and I've eaten here a couple of times. The food is ok, definitely a last resort kind of place for me. I will only sometimes eat here if the only alternative is skipping dinner altogether. The service is the slowest that I've experienced. Workers are very lackadaisical and will just stand around or go in the back for long periods of time. This location is literally losing thousands of dollars a week because of how slow they are. The last two weeks I've waited in line for 10-15 min only to leave and go somewhere else because the line is not moving. They will take 3-5 min to serve a single customer. I will gladly talk with restaurant operator to discuss efficiency improvements and staffing improvements, just so I can buy your food every so often. If anyone from SJC airport management reads this, I would highly recommend you shut this place down or enforce some quality and service standards.
If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would. The lady helping us was extremely rude, rushed us to make decisions and acted like we were inconveniencing her when we asked for something different for our order. We asked for sour cream and she said she didn’t have any however I saw her place a sour cream cup in the previous persons box. The food is small portions for a BIG price.. you could find better for this price.
In no way was my burrito special or interesting. The peppers were cold. I wish they had more and better vegetarian options. Avocado was good and staff were friendly. Returned and the service was unbelievably bad. Waited for several minutes to pay.
Flavorless, yes. Slow as hell, yes. Indeed, why do they ever need to hurry - it’s an airport after all! They so much were taking their time, that it was making me angry. Two stars because the ingredients felt fresh and overall my burrito felt very healthy.
Unfortunately, you probably won’t read this until after you eat as it’s an “airport” food place. Female worker with glasses was super short and annoyed with us ordering food such great customer service.... Expect a half scoop of everything and a $3.99 up-charge when you ask for at least a full scoop of meat. Food is expensive even for airport options and dismal portion sizes. Complete waste. Steer clear and look elsewhere.
