Been coming here for years now. Hands down, my favorite taco spot this side of Denver. They also offer combination plates but to be honest, I've always stuck with the tacos. The meat is always fresh and juicy. If you're a lover of delicious and authentic Mexican food, you absolutely need to check out Tacos Tijuana! I walk out full and spend less than $10.
Pretty good down home Mexican food. The smothered tamales are excellent.
I've noticed all the negative reviews are from 3 to 6 years ago. And let me just say, the staff and place has improved greatly. The cashier was really sweet looking, she even joked with us when we sent young7 years old Katie to pay for her own water. She saw we were chuckling, and smiled a bit, knowing that Katie was shy by how she acted. She politely helped her order properly, and gave her her water. The food was tasty, the salsa was good, and the drinks were medium in size. Not sure about refills though...
Good tacos.... they have a nice selection but I went late in the evening and the meat in my tacos seemed like it had been cooked earlier in the day.... still tasted good but I can only imagine if I had come in where the meat was freshly made.... their hot salsa bar was small but had a good variety....
This place is so stingy. They don't care about the comfort of its customers but they sure as hell want to charge like they do. The food is not bad but for what they charge you can go somewhere else with better food and more importantly better service. They don't even have little cups for salsa, you gotta ask for limes, they charge 2.25 for a fountain drink and don't even let you get a refill! for the money, it would be best to go to a nicer sit down place where they bring you you're food and cater to you.
This place has extremely good food and very generous people! It's my go to spot on Tuesdays and Thursdays because they have $.79 cent tacos with a topping bar.
Delicious generous pitions of food, all of which was served hot and tasty. It was a very dirty taqueria though, and it loojed like the kind of dirt that you can't just clean in a shift or two. The restaurant is dark and did not give you an impression of a sanjtary place to eat. That being said, we took it to go and it was great! The service was very slow and their atm was down but the food was good enough thar well be coming back!
I think I showed up a little early, but the abuelita who was there didn't seem to notice. She was extremely appreciative of my attempted Spanish, and was in fact so sweet and charming that I decided in advance that even if my burrito was terrible, they were getting a good review. The burrito is wonderful. A little potato heavy for my taste, but that's par for the course in Denver. I'll be back soon and often.
Very disappointed you can't mess up Mexican tacos usually all of them are delicious this place was not good the two young guys that were working there in the morning when I went or afternoon or either cooking too fast or not cooking good enough tortillas were hard for tacos
The staff is very unfriendly. I had a horrible experience. The staff forgot our drinks and an order of food. We told staff and the lady demanded a receipt which we never got in the first place before she would give us our food!! They had our receipt & said they would give us our food but they never brought it out. We walked out of the place. Worst. Service. Ever.
