Tease Salon

As a guy looking for a change in hairstyle, it was difficult to find a stylist that was skilled enough to give me a consistent cut. And often when I found one at local barbershops or chain hair salons, they left to pursue more promising careers at other salons. So, I decided to seek out a salon that was welcoming to men and women alike. That place has been Tease Salon. My stylist, Carly, made me feel comfortable from the start. To add to my comfort, there have been other guys getting haircuts at nearly all of my visits. So, guys, don't be afraid to leave Great Clips or other barbershops behind. I'm glad I found this salon, and look forward to having great hair into the future.

I was looking for a new place to get my hair cut, and I picked Tease Salon because of the sweet receptionist, Jasmine. She actually listened to me talk about the kind of hair I had and the cut I wanted, then she recommended a stylists at a few price ranges who she thought would be a good fit for me. I have never had a receptionist provide recommendations like that before! I chose Carol, the owner, to cut my hair. Carol was warm, funny, and a fantastic stylist: I got exactly what I came in for, and she even taught me how I could easily replicate the style at home. I never felt pressured to buy any products (although the products were awesome), and most importantly, I felt so welcome walking in as I was: makeup-free and with ratty hair that hadn't gotten cut in over a year! Carol never shamed me for my lack of hair upkeep, and actually taught me ways I could trim my bangs between cuts. The women at Tease know their stuff, and I love that they taught me a few tricks, too! This was the best salon experience I've had in St. Paul, and I will be back for sure!

I love Tease Salon! I have been going there for years. Amber does a great job, for a very fair price. On the rare occasion I can't schedule a cut with her, Rachel is a stellar fill-in. I have gotten to know the owners, Carol and John - they run a great shop. All the staff are friendly and they keep the place consistently clean. I enjoy supporting locally owned businesses and this one rocks!

I moved back to the TC 4 years ago and I have had the hardest time finding a hairstylist I want to keep going back to.... That search is OVER! Tease Salon is AMAZING. All of the staff are so fun and supportive. I love Maddy - She really listens to me and makes sure I walk out the door looking fabulous. I always wanted to try a fantasy hair color but was terrified to make the plunge without someone I trusted doing it... Maddy made my Mermaid teal/purple/blue color look so incredible - I get complimented every single day! All the time it took getting the color flew by because I had so much fun chatting with Maddy and all the other stylists...If I had infinite funds (and hair that grew on my command) I would be at Tease everyday getting new styles, new colors, and new cuts! 10/10 - I'll be back!

Never disappointed! No matter if I go in for a trim or major change, I always love the result. Josh is the absolute best there is. I searched long and hard for someone to manage my thick, wavy hair and he does it with such ease!
