I'm over-the-moon in love with this building! It's still got its classic art deco look, and they kept the vibe from those days. Management made it such a smooth process to get moved in, and Jasmine is my hero! She's never too busy to help me, and she's so much more accommodating than I'm used to. She's the real reason I finally chose to move here. And BTW, it does have central heat and air, a working elevator, and codes on the doors. The apartment, itself is gorgeous! The older bad reviews must have been before the new management.

I don’t have enough time or patience to write out every poor experience I’ve had with the Aberdeen. Raylynn is an absolute joke of a property manager. Maintenance does hack jobs on every fix, they’re slow to respond to actual issues and they don’t care about the quality of their work. The soffit on my ceiling completely fell, blocking my front door and they waited 4 days to get it and when they did all they did was take it down and leave it on my front steps for literally weeks. I had to move it myself because my grandparents were coming over and it was a trip hazard! It literally took a month for them to fix a light fixture in my kitchen that THEY broke! They’ve only had 2 working washing machines for well over a year. Every winter the heat and hot water go out at least once a week if not more. They turn the heat off way too early every year to save $$$ and never fix their shoddy equipment in the off season. Ask to see the boiler and where the fire was in 2021! All in all, I hate this place and so does almost everyone who lives there. Talk to your potential neighbors before signing a lease!
I have been here for about 6 months. I have had no major issues, the apt is unique and historic, the location is unbeatable, and I only see it improving with the addition of Vanessa fulltime.
Been living here for a year. Quite with maintained grounds. Maintenance problems addressed promptly. Large rooms and property is kept clean.
I've been living here for about 4 months and have been loving it all of the property managers are great and any problems I have they work on getting fixed faster than anywhere else I've ever been.
This place is disrespectful. I just called because A WINDOW FELL OUT AND NEARLY TOOK MY DOGS HEAD OFF. After hours was some guy in the Middle East, laughed at me and HUNG UP. Don’t trust this place. I don’t even know if it’s possible to drop a lawsuit on these people because the owners don’t even exist. Update…you also have a TRASHED LAUNDRY ROOM
I have had ongoing issues with my toilet for all 7 of the months that I have lived at the aberdeen. I have been given the run around so many times about getting this fixed that I have lost track of how many times I have called this issue in. It has been at least a dozen times that the service crew has come out to do the same repair with no long term solution in sight. Communication is absolutely horrendous here. I have never lived somewhere with such absolute lack of accountability. Be forewarned that getting someone to come to fix your issue will take a couple of weeks and 10 phone calls. I have often had to take off work to ambush someone that has come into their office which is hard to time out because their office hours fluctuate wildly just to get some kind of answer on pending service requests. I felt sympathetic at first, because every 2 months we would have a new property manager that would have to take on a bulk of unhappy tenants, but now it just seems like they are Catholic churching their employees around to table the blame on fresh mgmt. I am finally breaking my bad review seal in hopes that SOMEBODY, ANYBODY will contact me in regards to the terrible review, because it has now been two weeks since I have had any communication. I have left multiple, MULTIPLE messages with both the Aberdeen and its corporate office for the last two weeks to no avail. Please, please, please fix my toilet THAT I PAY FOR. Worst experience I have ever had with a rental property.
Having someone to talk to versus seeing the apartment information online makes a huge difference especially when you have someone like Veronica giving the tours! Friendly face to the friendly voice. The apartments are great and love that they have variety of different plans that fits everyone’s budgets. Definitely heading back soon and getting settled to our new home!
Veronica has been amazing ! Ever since she started here it feels like everything is falling into place and being settled. great management! Reliable scheduling and the maintenance people are always polite.
