I lived here for two years it was an overall good and safe experience. Parking is horrible I was on “waiting list”my entire time here and If you have expired tags or do not have your parking pass they will boot your vehicle for $80.00 plus. Along with my deposit refund check took 2 months for me to receive. Overall clean and good. Maintenance is good and the ladies in the office were always friendly.
Moved out a couple months ago and I’ve had the worst experience here. Maintenance never came to fix anything the last couple months I was there so I was paying for an apartment to only have half of my things broken/not working. Still haven’t received my deposit back after a couple months of being moved out from these apartments and have gotten no update whatsoever from the office or accounting. Parking is horrendous at night and will have to park in the very back of the complex with little lighting. People would not pick up after their pets so there’s pet waste all in the grass. Neighbors were loud and very sketchy and when we went to tell the office about it they didn’t seem to care at all but I had someone reach out about the situation and they were very helpful with helping me deal with the situation. Should not have to write a bad review and escalate this situation just to get someone to help with these issues and concerns because of the lack of communication with the office. These apartments have really gone downhill they may look nice on the outside but don’t let that fool you. Read the reviews and find somewhere else worth the price.
When we first started with this community it seemed great, but the constant change in management, the lack of appropriate maintenance, a yearly rent increase which went up by 13% this year has made it very hard to want to continue with it. I would be paying less in a house with the same rooms and would have a bit of a yard to enjoy. We were told when we first moved in the average rate increase was 5% a year. So going from 1350 to 1525 was a jump we were not prepared for and its disappointing that we have to juggle our finances again to keep up. Not satisfied with the fact we cant pay online anymore after an issue that happened 2 years ago either.
We are being forced to move because of harassment from neighbors. They stalk us with their ring camera that’s pointed directly at our front door only a few feet away. Every time we leave they leave after us, very recently they slashed the two front tires of our pickup truck we used to park at the complex for daily use, now we can’t even park our vehicles anywhere near by, and we had to move that truck somewhere else completely because we’re scared they’ll do it again. Not only that but they have friends not even on the lease that come and glare at us and say things to make us uncomfortable. The police and the apartment complex both said they can’t help us until things escalate??? MY Fiancé IS PREGNANT!! I seriously cannot believe the police and the apartment management both said this to a pregnant woman… So we’re moving as soon as possible out by the end of this month, gave a thirty day notice, paid January rent up front. All we asked is that they waive early term fees because we’re were harassed in to leaving. We had no complaints about living here until the harassment from the neighbors started, but they took it too far and being that you can’t help and we don’t want these people to know where we live we ask that you let us part ways without the early termination fees, we gave proper notice and have cause for leaving. I will gladly change the rating and my review to a better one if the owner would come back from vacation and help us out here.
Don't waste your time with this place. Office staff is extremely rude. I tried filling out an application and was literally told to not waste my time because they could tell just by looking at me I wouldn't be approved. So I went to River Walk instead which has a higher standard and was approved in 10 minutes. I can't imagine how horrible they treat their tenants if they treated a prospective tenant like me so poorly.
If your a robot and don't want to be seen as a live human being...this is a great place for you to live. Employees work with blinders on...look the other way as much as possible. Seemed to be trained to say "No" as much as possible. Have no pure intentions to want to help or care for residents.
Such a beautiful property. Parking can be tight at times and we've had our share of inexperienced and unhelpful maintenance, but the guys theyve sent over recently really took care of us.
Lived here for 4 years. The rent has gone up continually but the area is nice, the community is safe, the apartments are well maintained ours was at least. The parking is the worst thing about the place though. First come first serve and good luck getting a covered parking. Never had a problem with my car being booted or towed but had to park on the other side of the complex from time to time, if I got home past 8pm. Also some residents feel they do not need to pick up after their dogs so that's frustrating.
I have lived at the Aspens for a year just renewed my lease yesterday and I have found it to be a wonderful place to live. I have never had any administrative issues. The people in the office are always very friendly and attentive. I have only had to put in a few maintenance requests and they are always quick to come resolve an issue usually same day. I find the apartment itself to be quite spacious and comfortable. I have seen other reviewers mention parking being an issue and I will say that if I come home later in the evening it can be difficult to find a space that is close to my building. However, I have never had an issue with guests getting towed or booted in the lot. They have designated visitor spots for during the day and passes that you can get from the office for overnight guests. As long as you follow their visitor parking rules then you should have no problem. Overall I have had a great experience living here, especially compared to other complexes in the city.
Same owner as a Cottonwood Ranch, same rude staff. They just bounce back-and-forth from communities. Not worth the escalated costs that they’ve raise the rents to deal with such a rude people.
