The AZ Fry Guy

I had the enormous pleasure of having lunch at AZ Fry Guy today. I had the chicken breast and leg combo with collard greens. Holy Cow! It was spectacular! The chicken was so flavorful and moist with crispy skin. No joke, the collard greens were the best I have ever had including experiences in New Orleans and Memphis. I could live on these greens! I don't normally fawn over food in reviews like this, but the food was amazing, the service was friendly and accommodating and the restaurant was clean and simple. I loved it and will definitely be coming back again and again.

The owner was there and very nice and informative. We had a conversation about his business and told him I was looking for something like this in my area. He gave me a sample of his catfish and black eyed peas. They both were delicious. I took a meal home to share with my wife and she too was impressed. We will definitely be back. Go try this place out! You won’t be disappointed.

We read about this place online and we went there to get some fried fish and chicken. It happened to be a Friday night and that's when they have the BBQ rib specials. My wife and I both got the 4 rib special and were not disappointed. Meaty ribs that were delicious and the homemade BBQ sauce is tangy, and not sweet, just like I like it. The owner was really friendly and happy to go over the menu items with us. Since it was our first visit, he gave us complimentary cornbread muffins and some banana pudding for dessert. Both were great. Our meals were a lot of food for the price and we had plenty to take home for lunch the next day. We will definitely be back.

Thanks AZ Fry Guy for making it so easy to get great, soul cooking, at a reasonable price. Many blessings to you and your staff! You guys are going places! Keep up the good work! P.S. I love the peach cobbler!

Greens are some of the best that I have had in a long time. Their tenders are huge and juicy. More importantly they have red Kool Aid.
