The Bar Car

Clean with good music. This bar offers inexpensive drinks with staple comfort food options like burger, fries, and bbq plate. Often visited by Congress Park locals, this is a great place to hang out on any afternoon. The restrooms are also clean and I love the industrial look of it. :

Excellent dive bar with incredibly friendly staff and patrons! We ended up here for the tri-tip cookout they have every first Friday of every month-delicious! The fries are like nothing I’ve ever tried before, like fried mash potatoes yum. The vibe inside is so cool and the drinks were excellent too. A gem!

The server at this spot was really great she had awesome suggestions and was really attentive. She was even working the bar and made sure we were good and kept checking on us. We had never eaten here before so it was nice that she let us know about the secret menu instead of upcharging us. The food was okay lol but not bad and they are open late. It’s cool if you need a place to go. If you’re looking for great food then I don’t know what to tell you

Super crowded, but was able to find a table. Not a young adult atmosphere, more classic bar atmosphere. Staff was super friendly & helpful. Drinks were strong & really good! Heavy pour, which is what we are all looking for! Haha prices were decent. Vintage vibe atmosphere. Great for bar hopping.

Laid back place. Usually pretty busy. Their food is good, but look up their secret menu! More food on there. I recommend going every first Friday of the month during dinner hours because those days, they host their tri trip specials! There's something for everyone here. Make sure to buy a shot for the cooks because they are slaying it there!!

Great atmosphere cute little spot however our server didn't seem very excited to be working. I understand people have bad days but my drink was awful! Definitely not a cocktail bar stick to the shots and beers only .

Been going here for years... love the place. However I never eat it's a watering hole for me. Tonight I decided to partake. It is honestly the worst meal I've ever been served in Denver in 15 years of living here. Go for the drinks run from the food.

A bar full of divorce and breakup victims, with enough couples to save the atmosphere. Perfect ambiance, excellent spirit and veer variety, decent BBQ. Would live here in sad boi mode

Major "we don't serve your kind" vibes when I walked in early afternoon. One patron of two glared at me as I tried to ask friendly questions about the BBQ menu. Bartender was dismissive even before seeing that I had a service dog. Bartender Dave Grohl cosplay then joined a patron in openly mocking me and my dog when I let him know she is my service animal. I felt super unwelcome and unsafe, and left. And I still don't know what style of barbecue they serve

We have found our new favorite neighborhood bar! Small space, excellent service and they have daily specials. They also serve pretty amazing BBQ here, including other menu items. Several people have come in to get BBQ to-go during our visit, which prompted us to try it --- Did not disappoint, YUM! They also have Bingo here weekly and a DJ on Saturdays which is pretty fun.
