Story

Located at 543 Deering Avenue in the heart of Portland, Maine the Bayou Kitchen is a unique restaurant serving breakfast and lunch.

We specialize in Cajun classics like Jambalaya, Gumbo and Traditional Beans and Rice. But don’t pass up the incredible omelets, pancakes (which are bigger than your head), French toast and the fantastic homemade corned beef hash. The cornbread is always fresh and the atmosphere is funky Portland fun.
